Well after 3 years of following this thread I feel it's time to share. To start it off here is a pic of me on August long weekend Blue Rock Kananaskis 12,000 feet above campground few miles away on a hike with my cus. The hike consisted of 4 stages. 1: Crossing a glacier fed river (Sheep River) Stage 2: Climbing through the tree line straight up in a mosquito cloud, spider webs grabbing moss. Stage 3: Scrambling up the shale with beating sun on you (can see the sun behind me as we just came on other side of mountain to start rock climbing). Stage 4: Rock climbing.
As shown in this pick we had to come around the top ledge above my head, while it doesn't look very tricky there's about a 2,000 foot drop below it, the ledge is slanted and there is loose rock all over it. We had no gear so just call us young and stupid. P.S. Excuse the hair style my hair is a sweat ball from the record climb (3 hours to the pic) 6 hours to the top.
The pic really doesn't do it justice as its been scaled and the lightning and distancing is off, the ledge behind me is far away and 4-5 feet to my right is a 100ft cliff. (For the record we didn't go back up the ledge lol, we went down the other side of the mountain).
Cheers

Needless to say, I am extremely blessed to have not sustained more serious, permanent injuries... If you ask me whether or not I believe in divine intervention / angels / etc, that'd be a most definite YES!
