Yep. In return you're gaining evade/parry, nearly 1k more morale, a skill that heals you for around Dire Need heal when you get low, and 24/7 hedge. Hedge which works like clobber, and I don't need to explain what clobber does to brutal strikes.

I'd hate to try to prove that one stance is better than another, considering the fact that in order to prove such a statement one would have to provide concrete evidence. In the case of dps this would be mathematical evidence, which leads to the issue of measurement and differing variables in each measurement situation.

In my own dated opinion on the champ stance discussion: If you have good gear, then use fervor. If you have bad gear, then use glory. These statements are based on the premises: If you have good gear you will survive longer than if you have bad gear, if you have bad gear you need glory to survive long enough to actually get to the fight.

I thought it might be cool to prove the statement above as logically true but I'm feeling lazy.

Here's my take, I will post the my current best of their class choice, as well as my all time choice.

Minstrel: Maersson(current), Lunes(all time)
Loremaster: Wakelee, Alyada(current), my all time choice would have been Frizle but, he was disqualified because he now has an 80% store incorporated play style. Tis a shame even though I didn't like him before, he was definitely the best.
Runekeeper:Askir(current and all time. there just is no comparison here)
Warden:ehh stumped on this one. Pretty much just a tooth pick throwing class lol
Burglar:Feowise,Veldahar(curre nt), Sandbagger(all time. and No not just because he was my kinmate, he seriously beat the piss out of creeps)
&&&&&&&:Crytical(current, hands down best hunter I have 1v1ed, huntards learn from him!!!), Leca( all time. when he was in his prime that is)
Champahhu(current), Cramer,Blazeko(all time)
Guardian: sadly stumped on a choice here because there aren't alot of guards I've seen lately other than Synik, and I just can't give it to him to be default because he is far from impressive.(no offense)


Reaver:Rigs,Munja(current), Dreadnaught(all time)
Weaver: High ranked spider are few these days but gonna have to give it to Raelith(current) because PK is far from special. My all time choice is an old vilya hero Evilspinner! hands down best spider and raid leader I have ever seen in the moors it was an honor and privilege to creep with him.
Warg: Digga(current, he is just bloody impressive!), Skaithe, Kirakohken,Rovok(alltime)
Defiler: Guenk, Defilerdan, Tarburzthenice(current. They just know how to play the class. Pay attention to them Smegg and learn that you are playing a HEALER class, and not DPS.) Guenk(all time choice as well, great healer, and come on who doesn't love Guenk on vilya)
Warleader: Gulzguruth,Pittzburz(current), Darkrage(all time)
Blackarrow:Arrowsz, Rashkosh,Splay, Spidermanba, Soulthresher, Skullsmashin,(current), No all time choice at the moment its far to tough to decide.

I dont think anyone would argue about what stance is more OP. Glory is definitely the most OP out there.

Couldn't have said it any better Murci. Skill will usually trump gear, though less these days than in the past.

These players were/are excellent all around (1v1, small group, raid)

Warden: Wishbone. Glad to see he's back on creep.

Champion: Cramer. Perfected the aoe kite; could kill reavers with ease back when champs were sh*t.

Runekeeper: Askir. Wins by default; has played class since inception and knows rk well.
Loremaster: Tinechor. Toughest 1v1 lm before audacity.
Minstrel: Megus. Only minstrel who could heal as well as me. We could keep entire raids alive.

I know it wasn't much "Help" haven't played freep side in a good year, 2 maybe. All I would say is stack alot of crit and dev crit or something lol. Seems to rule the moors these days.

oh and don't be one of those champs that allow Hedge to come off, worst thing ever to let go away when 1v1ing a good reaver
