Been enjoying this more "battle ready" version of my hunter lately.

Helm's Deep Devamp killed my long time toons. Currently bouncing around between post-HD newbie alts (a warden and champ) and other games.

I'm still a newbie when it comes to cosmetics. I just noticed something cool at the cosmetic vendor at skirmish camps. There's mystery cosmetic boxes you can barter for. I got a hauberk one and I actually liked it. It replaced the chest and legging piece I was using for me Bree-land Warden.
I'm not 100% happy with this. I thought I had dyed everything dark green and when I dyed the hauberk dark green... it turned out lime.
Pretty simple outfit, but I'm pleased with how it's coming along.

I'm really in love with my new outfit and the (very expencive, duh!) warsteed color!

Shades of Grey, my first Rohan outfit blog post
My first Rohan post was supposed to be a happy post. A post showing off my new warsteed in awesome colours with a mix-‘n-match outfit. A first post of many, sharing the amazing new possibilities using the warsteed outfit system. Unfortunately, this is not to be. Not because the new warsteed customization options aren’t there, but because those options require a hefty sum of real life money to be accessed. ... read more

First of all, thank you all for 85 pages of amazing and unique outfit combinations! I've been enjoying outfitting system since I discovered it and this thread was always incredibly inspiring to me.
I'm relatively new to LotRO and I'm still far away from Rohan, so I don't have any rohirric outfit to share. I'm enjoying my time in Mirkwood very much and I wanted to wear something practical while questing there- something comfortable and good for a huntress, who needs to blend into this dark environment. I ended up with Tawarwaith hat, Coat of the Golden Wood, Westernesse Protector's Leggins and little details: Sturdy Elven Quiver, Footman's Gloves with golden and silver leaves to match the golden elements of armour and the silver pieces of the hood, Treiglur-Lhopan, which I recently found on AH (I really want to see an ovate leaf shape in this plate metal section on their front), and Westfold Assault Shoulder Pads.

Nice job Lorinell on that last screenshot getting the dragon from the pipe weed!
Nice outfit as well.

I'm in love with the new lvl 80 crafted heavy armour chest piece.
It's just so Rohirrim!
Chest: Combative Eastemnet War Armour (olive)
Feet: Ceremonial Boots of the Learned
Hands: Heavy Plated Dunlending Gauntlets (umber)
Shoulders: Pauldrons of the Stoic Stag (olive)
Back: Plain Cloak (olive) [I've since replaced this cloak with the Cosmetic Cloak of the Norcrofts - the white one with the green helmet emblem on it, but the outfit is otherwise the same]
So, a few weeks ago when it was on sale, I bought the Steed of the Minstrel for my beloved main character. The horsie wears a garish blend of red and blue... of COURSE I had to make an outfit to match it! Here is my attempt.
Helm: Embroidered Hood of the Dunland Healer
Shoulders: Huranc
Back: Wyrmscale Blademaster's Cloak
Chest: Cel-crus
Gloves: Sturdy Leather Gauntlets
Legs: Threadbare Leggings of the Dunland Healer
Boots: Vibrant Brushed Skirmish Boots
All dyed either Sky Blue or Red. Yeah. This outfit just SCREAMS "I have a target on my back, hit me, hit me~!"
Narlinde ~ Minstrel, Singer of the Lament of Windfola
So then this week, Riders of Rohan launched and I got a Warseed! Huzzah! And since I bought the Steed of the Minstrel, my Warsteed got to have that look, too... except, I COULD DYE IT OMG YAY! But there are limited dye options, unless you buy more. Still... I played with it... and then... I hit the Yellow dye button...
Yeah. So, of course, I yet again had to try to make an outfit to match my NEON GREEN, ORANGE, AND YELLOW pony! Tee hee~!
Warsteed: All Steed of the Minstrel gear dyed Yellow.
Helm: Wandering Bard's Helm (dyed orange)
Shoulders: Daervunn's Shoulders (dyed yellow)
Back: Hangol (dyed yellow)
Chest: Heavy Cloth Armour (dyed orange)
Gloves: Gloves of the Seven Stars (dyed yellow)
Legs: Leggings of the Seven Stars (dyed orange)
Boots: Boots of the Seven Stars (dyed yellow)
Well. At least the people I group with for Warbands will easily be able to pick me out of the crowd, right?

First Rohan outfit. I totally dig the new level 80 robes, but I dislike the medium armour and level 85 heavy armour on Elf females.

So this is a different kindof look for Middle Earth, but I thought it might be interesting to think of what a "rural constable" might dress like... sort of the equivalent of a "small town sheriff"... anyway, take a look here...

Kinda reminds me of Lee Van Cleef.

Nice outfit Caylean! I especially like the way the cloak clasps around the neck. What cloak is that?

And here is a Lothlórien Outfit I did based on the Silvan Elves and their preference for Grey (Along with a Lore-ish post about how ironically grey is a preferred colour)

ROFL! omg, that's hilarious... not exactly what I had in mind for this guy at first, but now this song is branded in my brain
Thanks! Actually, I used the following combo:
Back: Cloak of the Grey Company, Sienna Dye
Shoulders: Padded Mantle of the Dunland Soothslayer, Umber Dye
I had to play around with the colors until they matched, so you might have to do the same thing for a different desired color.

This is my favourite pipe weedThanks a lot!
Caylean, very nice- he looks like a "rural constable" indeed
Sarathaela, I'm a big fan of your outfit ideas, and the "Silvan shadows" is just wonderful combination to me. The Golden Wood has been always very close to my heart and I'm happy to see an outfit for Galadhrim maiden inspired by lore. I love this dress! I'm sure it would look great on a hobbit too![]()
Woot, the thread lives on as a sticky!
Thought I'd share my latest this morning. This is meant to be a portrait of Brodda the Easterling, a pretty obscure character from The Silmarillion and The Children of Húrin, but I think it's a great outfit for any kind of wild warrior. This is my first one using RoR pieces, in this case the really nice cloak.

Very nice Starry! That outfit is incredible.

Boo, none of the wordpress content can be viewed at work. Anyone know of any workarounds? It's my favorite thing to do at work; checking the wonderful combinations everyone seems to come up with.
