Discovering the Descendant - Favour of the Maeras?

I just got back on a char that had been stuck on 9/10 in this deed because that last quest just refuses to show up. To my horror, I see that the warsteed skill has been removed from the rewards for this deed, instead listing that silly horsetail cloak.

Is the skill still awarded after completing the final encounter? Can't find anything in the patch notes about this change.

Hi there. I just finished this series of quests too. Once you finish the last of the 10 quests in the Discovering the Descendant deed, you need to go back and talk to Eogar. He then sends you on one final quest with the Horse from Combe. It is a short instance. When done, go and talk with Eogar and you will get the skill.

If I remember correctly, you receive the warsteed skill after u complete the Langhold quest line.

So that is is still as I remember it. Phew. Because before the release of RoR, the cloack was the reward for horseing around, and the Favour skill showed in the deed log for Discovering.

So all is good, just need to get that final pesky quest. :-)

They're talking about a different skill, Favour of the Mearas. It's awarded for completing the 9 quests that make up the Hengstacer Farms Horse dailies.
