Also, looking forward to see who drove the farthest to get here tonight. Brought something for that person!

In the event that they don't put our rather large group up front and some of us arrive late, what name will you be giving for our tables?

Great question. I will use my name Adam, or Rick as thats Sapience AKA. Shouldnt be hard to find us though. I will try to be in the parking lot about 7:30ish to let the Winghouse know we are there.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Sapience for having this amazing meet and greet. nice to finally sit down and talk to you as well as other fans in the area.

Hope to plan another Central Florida meetup sometime in September. Will post more info when It gets closer. Maybe a different venue, such as the Disney area.

    Thanks everyone.

    Thanks Sapience, All!

Rick, thanks for putting this together, on your vacation of all times!

I can honestly say I don't think I've ever sat down with a table of strangers and watched people turn into friends as fast as tonight - with endless, fun conversation! As I walked in I thought hmm..this could be..awkward. Nope! The LOTRO community is even awesomer in person.

Rick, the LOTROSWAG was over the top and I thank you! I'll be putting a few of my prizes into our kin lottery - my kinmates are already stoked!

Gestures like this really make an impact with your fans/customers. Suggestion: Do LOTS more of these! (Make it someone's full time job lol). If I didn't love my current job so much I'd be first in line.

To everyone that I got a chance to chat with, it was really great meeting and talking to all of you. Now get your butts onto Brandywine and let's all guild up together. I happen to know a pretty good one....

Would love to see the photos that others took and I'm in for a player-based get together again in Orlando.
PM me here, or via Facebook. www.Facebook.com/BBCGuild.

Cheers, All - now I have to get back to running around Middle Earth and showing off my new title!

I was glad I was able to join in for this at the last minute. Got some nice loot too

Was a lot of fun meeting other people who played the game tho i seemed to be the only one from Gladden there. A couple of us did not stop talking and leave the parking lot until midnight.

wow, wish I had known about this, would have loved to attend (I am on the west coast just a bit north of tampa/clearwater so its an easy trip). but as things turned out I wouldn't have made it anyway. My truck took a turn for the worse, where's my warhorse when I needed it!!!! lol

sounds like you all had a lot of fun hanging out. sorry I missed it, maybe next event! (and I might be able to locate one or two other florida players!)

Big thanks to kickman77 for putting the meet-up together, the food was great, and the staff very accommodating. I am not one to venture out to a group of strangers, but everyone was super friendly...it felt more like a family reunion.

Uber thanks to Sapience for taking a day off from your vacation and family to spend it with us. And thank you for all the SWAG )more than I thought we were getting). Hope you remember all the questions and suggestions we poised to you, lol.

My son (Keld) joined me there, and he hasn't played for awhile, but after last night, he is ready to play again...

Looking forward to another meet-up in the future, with or without Turbine people...just let me know when and where.

Again, thank you all for a great evening.

Pretty much this. Traffic was bad so I arrived late and was definitely worried about the awkward factor. Shouldn't have, it was fantastic! Loved getting to completely geek out with like-minded people, with topics ranging from what differentiates sci-fi from fantasy, to the best way to complete specific Hytbold quests. ^_^ I didn't take very many pictures, but I'll post what I have either today or tomorrow.

Thank you, everyone, for such an entertaining evening. You definitely made the horrible traffic worth it.

    SUCH a wonderful geekfest!!!

Thanks so much to Sapience and Kickman for setting this all up. We had SUCH a blast. What a surprise to win a lifetime membership! We would have traveled twice that far for our favorite pasttime! It was great to meet all the other LOTRO-ers and know that everyone else is just as passionate as we are about the game.

Sapience, it was true pleasure and I hope we cross paths again. Well-met and mae govannen to all!

I too was worried about the "awkwardness factor" of walking into a group of strangers and sitting down to eat. However, before I even walked in the doors I was already talking to people about the game.....as well as other stuff. Met quite a few people I never would have met otherwise and had a great time. Sapience made sure to walk down the table and talk to each and every single person one by one asking questions and answering questions. Great guy, and a great representation for the game. Lots of loot last night as well, certainly cant complain about that =) Thnx again to Sapience and Kickman for putting it all together.....and grats Kick on that killer mouse.....LOL. Was great meeting all of you, and hope we can do it again!

Posted up some pics on Facebook. http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...0536328&type=1

Looks like there were quite a few who missed the news. We could have topped 50 easy from the looks of things. I don't know if the poor girls waiting on us could have handled another 15.

Yeah we did put them to work.

I did talk to Sapience about LOTRO having a presence at MegaCon down here.
