    Have you ever.....

Thought of which NPC would be the worst to be in real life? Mine is in Bree towards the west entrance a guard has a dog following him around barking 24/7... If I was that NPC and had to walk around all day long with that going on; I would freak.

    What about you guys?

I would rather not be Laerdan. Or Narmeleth either, come to that.

What about Sara Oakheart? This little, cute and weak (and slow, don't forget painfully slow) old lady that always asks for your help when less convenient.

I imagine leaving Walmart in a hurry just to find this lady that needs help walking to the other side of the parking lot to take the bus... and then, when you arrive home, find her inside, stealing your stuff and putting down your dog just with one hand.

Finding her in real life would suck.

But being one of them? I don't know... Golodir... or Laerdan.

I'd hate to be that Ranger outside of Buckland that was stupid enough to stand in front of a Nazgul, and get run over by his horse.

6 years of telling countless numbers of adventurers what happened and listening to them talk about how much of a moron you are........
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, totally worn out & proclaiming "WOW, what a ride!"

Most recently, I'd hate to be any of the Inn League dwarves my tiny lady hobbit mocked and slapped into submission on behalf of the Ale Association in front of their friends -- how very embarrassing.

On a serious note, I'd have to second the vote for Laerdan. What a tragic story his was.

I'd hate to be that Supplier in Forlaw near the guy giving out the daily open landscape instance quest. I would be forced to buy tons of c-rap from some wannabe adventurers each and every day with my hard earned coin.

Man, I'd hate to be that guy.

I'd hate to be Sambrog ... his tombstone sure doesn't read 'R.I.P.'

How about the guy getting constantly punched by that woman for (supposedly) burning down her farm? Same guy for over 5 years.

At least now (like other NPCs in Bree) I think their hair color/clothing changes so it's different people. Still, poor guy. Even if he did burn down her farm.

That Hobbit that is stuck in the hedge in Bree. Nothing but your rear end sticking out and all these people willing to do ANYTHING for some experience and a little copper or silver and NO ONE is willing to help you get out of that fence....

I would hate to be those trolls outside Isengard. All they do is fail to catch people who are running into Isengard on horseback, and once in a while get killed by a 12 man fellowship.

I think Sapience has my #1.

My #2 would have been a tie, one of which was the fella chopping that same log for 5 years in Bree, but they gave him a MUCH needed break.

The other is the Dwarf outside of Thorin's Hall that has been chopping on the ice flow for 6+ years.
