    Looking for a great kinship

Relatively new player seeking really good kinship. Looking for kinship with active players who log on daily. Looking for advice for raiding and lots of activity. I'm on the west coast, and play most nights.

Please respond with how many players are typically on at a time, whether you use voice chat and if so, what program. Include level of kinship and how many total players in kinship. Also include how long kinship has been in existence.

    Thanks in advance.

The "Mutiny" kingship is pretty good.

Well, I posted this on the Riddermark forum, so I thought it was pretty obvious. Thanks.

    Hello MebCollins

Well, Order of the Ebon Hawk is usually a pretty active, mature group. We have players from all over the world (with some from the west coast of North America) many with years of experience (and some with fantastic raid experience), but we do not do too many scheduled raids at the moment. We have Ventrillo, the kinship is level 10 and has been around for a couple of years now. We have 14 pages of toons at the moment, with each page being 20, but nearly all have alts, so the actual member count is hard to say. We normally have around ten folks on at any given time, sometimes lower, sometimes higher, and being a worldwide kin, there is always someone on. Oh, and we have a broad range of member ages, from 18 to 63 or so. I'm 47.

Have a great day and I look forward to seeing you in the game, whatever kin you decide to choose.... Blunte

    Riders of the Riddermark

All the information you requested is located on our website. If you check our calendar you will see that we do raids on a weekly basis for all levels, and all of our officers do end-game raids who are willing to mentor you on your class. We are officially the oldest kinship on the Riddermark server. We are most active in the evenings, with an average of 8-12 regular members online at one time. There's a healthy balance of level 85s and those that are currently leveling their toons. Please visit our website for all the details.

If you'd like to talk to me in-game with further questions, send a tell to Peodric or Peowise.

Your kinship looks impressive, but I didn't see one answer on the website. Do you use a voice chat program and if so, which one? Thanks. -Meb

We used to use Vent, but not anymore. For most it is much easier to use the in-game voicechat system for spontaneous grouping. When I played WoW, having voice chat server for your guild was a necessity, but for LOTRO the in-game system is mostly satisfactory. It wasn't worth paying for if it wasn't being used. Almost all our members like to speak when in a group, very few quiet types.

    Heya RohirrimRapsody

I didn't know yours was the oldest kin on Riddermark. That is neat! (Really!) And I must say, I like the kin website. Very nice and professional looking.

Enjoy the day and good hunting... Blunte Foamfollower

As far as i know, there is a kinship that was created on September 9, 2010. That would be the oldest kinship in the server, instead.

    Magol,

Here is the link to the forum that lists the first 10 kinships created on the server by time, and they were all created on September 7, 2010, not Sept 9. The very first kinship was Righteous Indignation, but they are no longer active. We only claim to be the oldest 'active' kinship on the server.

I can attest to the validity of the data in this thread, even though the site used to gather the data from Turbine's records is no longer active.
