when i first got in game

when i first started to play this game when middle earth was freed my first toon were made in the riddermark server. after being unable to play for 7- 8 months i returned to see what it seems at that time to be an empty server( i was prolly wrong , cuase by then i didnt know about glff) ... well the porporse f this post is to know whatever jappen to the kin i was part . cuase when i got back there was no kin, no kin , no know ppl on the server made me restart my toons in the arkenstone...what happened to The Knights of Divinity??? its Evilhunter and evil ect his alts still around the server??? ..i dont think ill ever know...i played as jule(mini) and julairam ( lm )

As for the server activity level, with U11 there has not been much to do of late, so most people are taking it easy and waiting for Helms Deep. Or checking out other games.

I am not completely sure about what happened to the Knights of Divnity, but most people are taking a break like Crell said.

Anyway, evilhunter is not a character of this server, as far as i know, but some of his alts are Evilfang, Evilcheese, Evilthief... i guess you mean that player? He plays daily, easy to find in glff.

About KoD, iorviel had a crazy mind Nerf and deleted the kin lol, maybe because most officers and the people she knew more were leaving the kin. As you probably know, KoD was full of drama, iorviel was controlling everyone and dismissing people for minor problems, as well inviting unknown people just to fill the kin. Still, that happened almost an year ago, people moved on, some people from old KoD still plays.

As for you, i do remember your name, but its been so long, lots of people coming in and out lol, send a tell inside the game, il happily chat with ya. Always good to find old school players returning to lotro

I too was away from LOTRO for approximately a year. I came back and leveled my mini from 75 to 85 and I feel the server is slow/dead compared to what it was a year ago. I next to never see Erebor raids in GLFF and don't see 6-mans often either (now that I think about it). The kin I was in was disbanded and gone when I returned and I've struggled to find an active kin; moving from kin to kin which really sucks because I was in my previous kin for over a year. I do still like Riddermark (some great people there).

I know a lot of people are taking a break but Riddermark is far from dead. During the Euro times, yes it can be slow, but normal nights (3pm-12pm servertime) there are a lot of people on. In my kin our most active times are 5am-noon and 7pm-midnight servertime. We can have over 1 page of people on during those times and since the great down time there hasn't been a time where a kinmate has said they had come online and there wasn't at least 2 others on. The only thing you can complain about is that everyone is spread out over the levels and there is really no heavily populated level range besides the end-game.

I saw you commenting about my post in GLFF. You sounded upset. Don't take my comments as a Riddermark slam.

Opinions are subjective. Whether I am right or wrong is neither here nor there. I simply stated how it "feels" for me since I came back; echoing the observations of the OP. I think when you're away for long periods of time and return you notice the decline a little more because you weren't there to witness it little by little; it feels more extreme as a result. I recently rolled some toons on a different server and the contrast seems night and day to me. There are often 3 times the people in the other server's glff for example. I think that gives a good idea of population differences.

I am sure being in an active kin makes all the difference and I am believe that it is playing a big role in why I am "feeling" the way I am.
