pretty funny u mention this cuz everyone does. everytime someone tries to stick for something like stop rez camping they always get backlash and it pissess me off because ppl cant say something or stick up because everyone is a follower and rides with all the fails who think rez camps are the bomb. its been happening for so long that nobody says something and nobody mentions how fail all of the new creeps/freeps are ezmoding and hitting rank 10 in flipping 2 months. it took me so long to hit r10 and especially cuz im a cappy and its hard, and then theres others like gelarthor and Bo and all the other raidbabies who hit it in like half the time it took me. and yes I am gunna mention names because im at the point now where I don't care, ive been nice for way to long. tired of this community that has no sense of good and bad pvp. maybe im wrong and maybe im the one who fails because I don't follow everyone and rez camp all day. maybe I just qq to much cuz I feel like this servers pvp has turned to &&&&.i honestly have nothing against u fantos but im just finally saying something cuz everyone just seems to be stuck in this mentality that this is what good pvp is.

I actually do agree with much of what Justin (sorry that's what I call him) is saying.

Ever since u10 there has been a plethora of new freeps out that I myself had never even seen before. Some of these people were like rank 4 or 5 back before update 10, and now they are rank 9 and 10. I know I'm not a "veteran PvPer" like Karoc or Eomen or anyone who was around in the 65 days, but I have PvPed for over a year and a half. I feel like many of the people who played back then are just as annoyed at the PvP scene nowadays as I am (I might be wrong).

One of the main reasons I don't freep anymore (in the moors) is because of how ridiculous freepside has become. A new wave of "ezmoding" freeps came in after u10, and they have (in my opinion) ruined PvP. I cannot tell you how much it pisses me off when I'm out there in a group or solo on my reaver and I start fighting a champ, and they bubble after they've lost like 2k health. Or if a burg pops TnG after I've hit them maybe three times. Or a LM that gets 3 water-lores (with the inc healing buff) up as soon as they even see me. In my opinion that isn't honorable PvP.

Also one other thing that angers me is that when the freeps get rolled nowadays, they seem to multiply. Just yesterday I was out on my reaver, grouped with Veenom, Karroc, Trilogi, and Thunder. We engaged in a RvR fight near the spider caves and it was a tough fight, but we ended up rolling them. The next thing I remember is Trilogi and I just running around, then getting ambushed by at least twice the number of people we had just fought. That group didn't have to bring more people out there to roll us, they had a good amount. Maybe when we rolled them they had the wrong targets up on target assist, or maybe it was just bad luck on their part. I know that if we had repeated that same fight maybe 4 or 5 times, they probably would've wiped us a time or two. Freeps nowadays think that if a creep group/raid rolls them once, they have to bring out another healer or 4 more DPS classes or something. Winning a RvR doesn't take sheer numbers, it takes strategy. It takes calling out the right targets and working together as a group. That's another thing I think freeps nowadays don't understand.

I long for the days back when Anessen or Torqky would lead raids on freepside, and Shap and Roudy would lead raids on creep. Those days were amazing. Back then there was strategy involved in those raids, not just sheer numbers. And I wish the new freeps were more honorable. We don't have much farming or exploiting anymore. No, now we have freeps who ezmode. That's what I think is ruining the server's PvP.

Some good points made here...there really was a huge increase in new freeps once u10 hit...pretty sure those were the guys who hardocre failed...and once their class was beefed up they just went all out whenever they could lol...ranked hella fast..but yet they rely more on their heals and buffs than anything else...they wouldnt know what to do without them...really the best of class threads shoulda stopped after RoR came out...because really everyone new added to the list after that wasnt good at all lol..and im glad im not the only one who notices that freeps are huge chickens or something...sorry to call you out but ram runs like a little girl and blows all his cds when he gets hit once...yet hes on the list lol...same for ash..all i see is him spamming water lore lol...its amazing really...and all these new hunters...LOL..thats all i have to say..sorry if im being so blunt..but sugar coating it isn't gonna help..and some of the kins that used to be badass in the moors are starting to rely on what u10 brought rather then actual skill. Im not trying to be a jerk about it but..it is what it is. Ive been pvping since the 65 days...and let me just say...those were the days...turbine needs to leave the moors alone...how about they give us an entirely new map insteed of making pvp hella unbalanced with every new expanshion..

Xellor, you must have purchased glasses from the Lotro Store to remove your blinded status.
As much as Creeps want to find Freeps guilty for everything that is wrong with the moors, you are right Xellor, Freeps cannot completely be blamed for playing the game how it is presented to them or for what is given to them to play with in the first place. That is all Turbine.






One cannot simply play the scapegoat-card of "Freeps pay VIP therefore odds must be in their favor".
There are plenty of Creeps that feed Turbine as much money as the Freeps by p2w'ning all their skills and traits, so It should be equal.

There are still many (and I am in no way talking about myself, rather, the players who have mastered their classes) skilled freeps and creeps, they just tend to get mixed in with this downed state of pvp in lotro right now.

Let me preface a cool thread by addressing some various nubbery and QQ:
New Expansion = Creepest strongest
Initial Expansion End Game = Even, tilted toward Creep
Raid Cluster & 1st ages = Starts tilting toward Freep
Pre-Expansion End game update = full on freep advantage

The complaints in this thread are tried and true, been said many times before along an expansion life cycle, substituing creep for freep depending on the time line. Pre-RoI there were only a few r9's on server. That number exploded with the F2P, many freeps on these lists cut their teeth on numerous greenie f2p reavers and have no right to complain about rank. Just like I have no right in comparison to SoA days.

If your still concerned with rank your playing for the wrong reasons. I don't mind one bit its easier, this game has been out forever and there's still only a handful of r15's. Shouldn't take years to reach top PvP rank. Having addressed that, unbiased without further adieu my list of impact/memorable players, (for better or worse):

Freep:
Burg: Oprah, Caspur, Annesen -- Guys that have been out there a long time, terrorizing unsuspecting greenies like no other. Caspur gave me my first bout of creep rage. Xunang's time was shorter but still quite a solid player. Props to Annesen for leading raids and willingness to be inclusive, we need more of that here. Niben, Sycarius Pvp'd hard as well.

Captain: The first ones that come to mind for me are Nvious, Dairren, Hiriath,Eomon, and Stassi. Bromton you are still a nub, work on your virtues and relics. For PvE.... Tangarth, Ayleth, Tud. I play a captain so I know more of em and

Champ: Ordun and Ironguy were the only champs in the moors till 75 pretty much. Ilthallion was near impossible to kill and a great player, although he was more well known for his RK. Drakk used to run around with a shield, but has been Glory since before it was OP. From then on Karoc, one of the few players who did not take part in the RoI daily OC camp zergs with regularity.

Guardian: Edlorthar, Thrend, Bryanmm one of the most entertaining players we ever had. Agtug and Idras used to have some epic spars in the 21st hall, Kraum is top-class as well. Skuzzy was the first OP tank I ran with at 65. Thaelon, Neomoth, were pvp'ers. Rudger was a great PvE tank.

Hunter: Atador, Sarharien(nicest player ever!), Katon used to hit very hard as a dwarf hunter. Stodborn, the other illthilalion were solid PvP'ers. Meldreth was great post-RoI in PvP and PvE. Pat and Welthy are top notch nowadays. Khium used to lead the first server raids.

LM: Lots of contributors here: Gallanhael was gallanfail for constantly getting zerged on TA lawn. Guido got beat by Tickle on video. Zubby came out at 40, got killed a ton by Aces, Zubzubkiller but was the funniest in OOC. Sno was constantly looking for questers in HH and obssessed with rank. Nelgor, Tarsnoborn were solid contributors. Ianwulf died more than anyone but truly enjoyed the moors. All these players contributed a ton and great sports for the most part.

Mini: Porkchop, Iriella, Erlilda, Doomsie, Aellor, Ocho all great players. Trevil was top mini I ever played with.

RK: Tons of skilled Easy moders - Ilthel, Zidia, Fuzion, Viduo are the main ones that come to mind. Belv and Lythea are top notch healers. All very tough to kill solo. For PvE... Skytz and Rustynail, top forum combatant.

Warden: Jacbo, Toa, Card, and Axilleas the fail that everyone knows now as Aktis

Just freeps for now if I mentioned you please take as a compliment. Creeps I will do another time, we also have had many solid contributors on that side that I want to include when I have the time.
