Actually, pretty soon(not Sapience speak soon), I'll be taking a trip to the High Coast region in Sweden.
No? Not the information you are looking for?
Oh, yeah, I've been doing a kitchen revamp at home. That might be of moderate interest.

What I meant was that not everyone can get the dang thing to download. I have tried on several occasions to get it to download & it would take days to get the download done cause it goes so sloooooooooow. I said to heck with it.
So anyone who has access to the BR server could you please list these new item/s???

Only when an a CLOSED expansion is being tested does not everyone have access to it. Everyone has access for intermediate builds such as 11.2 =)

#Possible new item
How about a variation of the Stone of the Tortoise which not only freezes your current xp but gives you a slider to artificially knock your level down to be able to re-experience the areas as they were intended (ala GW2)
Granite countertops and stainless appliances or is that already out of fashion?
The item coming in 11.2 is a store item, there's a thread about it here. The Council had a lot of input on what it did, how it did it, and appropriate pricing/value considerations.
I dunno, I don't follow the trends!
But no, not granite. Would be something that would've had to be pre-cut. Everything in this house is a bit on the wonky side, as it was built in the 1890s, and also, the last owner liked doing DIY, unfortunately, his enthusiasm for it didn't quite make up for the lack of skill he had. We've spent a lot of time undoing what he did previously!
But for the worktops, oak I think they are. Those and a new sink/taps, plus new flooring/wall-tiles, have been the only things we've been bothered to change so far.
Thankfully, the worktops have been appropriately varnished and protected, because we're not replacing them for another 10-15 years at least!
And now, back on topic!
Stuffs!

I'd like to hope the Council suggested a pricetag for 995 TP/account and 295 TP/character for the journeyman tier. I don't know the Council's input. I'd like to know, because I question the pricing on BR. But if I were a Council member, that would have been my input.
Anyway, I've suggested some changes in the appropiate thread linked by Sapience. Here I ask how the pricing on BR relates to the Player Council input on that.
Where in my post I mentioned ANYTHING about store? Sapience in his original post said:
* A new item coming in Update 11.2.
There was nothing about the store. So I was hoping it will be new ingame item (barter token or whatever) for these class items. That is why I was so dissapointed when I found out it is what it is.
No, I really dont want Lotro to be p2w (it already is more than it should be).

But those 168% mounts come complete with a custom cosmetic mount appearance.
This is a single digit % speed buff. No cosmetics involved. I rank it pricewise more in the milestones and hurried traveler category. Not in the custom appearance category.
And I wonder what the Player's Council advice in this was.
I agree i'd be interested in exactly how the input of the player council worked for this item. It would be a nice sample case to see how the council interacts with Turbine.
Maybe Sapience can enlighten us there.
Or lift the NDA for this case(I understand that might open pandoras box though).
Most store mounts are priced at 1995TP. If there's no War-Steed equivalent version, the price for the strictly travel mount might be on occasion 1295TP.
The +68% Reviler's Gilded Steed was 1,995 TP/Account or 1,295 TP / Char
the +68% seems reasonable to me. The question becomes, does a ~6% functional increase in speed justify a 50% increase in cost.
1 - 1.68 / 1.78 = 0.056 increase.

still think its hard to justify the price its way over rpice for what it does heck its almost the price of a expansion just 1300 TP off of what rohan cost
Dagranhad - Burglar | Aldgarea - Loremaster | Barathrothir - Hunter | Golladhar - Captain
Well you can get the account-wide unlock of the Riding skill for $10 by purchasing the Samwise Gamgee starter pack. Which means that modest 6% boost in speed is costing about $20.
And then there's those of us who already have the Riding skill account-wide from that pack, and so the 6% boost in speed will cost us $30. That's almost what I paid for Rohan Legendary (when it was on sale).
I have to think that Turbine is losing out on a lot of profit by pricing certain items out of reach of most players. I don't know about most people, but I'm far more likely to drop TP on items priced under 1000 TP than I am to blow the whole wad at once, unless it's an expansion, and it's usually cheaper to purchase these with real money anyway.
I don't think that's a fair comparison - everything goes on sale eventually (in the LOTRO store, anyway), so if you're comparing prices, it should either be full-price to full-price or on-sale to on-sale.
We haven't had a 'choose your discount' recently, but that would work nicely for this one. Just add one item and you're at 3000TP, which (in the past) unlocked the highest discount - 20 or 30%, I believe.
Plus, you're buying this with TP, not dollars, and the 'double bonus points' sale is pretty frequent too...
All in all, if you time it right, I think one could get this for significantly less than $30.
