Ah, so it wasn't just me that won across all my chars (including ones I can't access since dropping VIP)? Damn, why couldn't they have done that with a Hytbold token lottery? :-)

As a test lottery it was unannounced and set to award a very high number of winners per world. The odds are good that most worlds didn't have as many characters entered as we set to allow winners.

I assume that this was the Farmer's Faire Token lottery for the 20th, and I also see that it was indeed a test lottery, as I'd suspected. Two of my characters "won", but I did not receive reward game mails on either. I assumed it was a known issue, but since I don't see any posts in this discussion category reporting a similar issue, I thought I'd go ahead and mention it, this thread seemed as good as any.

If there was a change in delivery methods and they went to wallet automatically instead of via mail, then I have no way of knowing, though I did check my chat log for any "item received" messages and saw nothing.

The rewards were sent via in-game mail (I won on a couple of toons). One known issue that has caused winners to not receive rewards is transfers. Characters that had been transferred get selected as winners but apparently the lottery mechanism has old data and tries to send the rewards to them on their old server. There are probably other similar issues.

I won one and it was delivered by mail and as you state above it went directly into the barter wallet. Easy to forget I'll grant you that

I won the 'A token lottery' on two of my entered characters and prizes got delivered by in-game mail. Everything looks like it's working fine.

However, one can never be too certain. Therefore I recommend many more lotteries to test the system.

In fact, I recommend a fullblown outright stress test.
