He doesn't think they are able to make changes now, but whatever the outcome, submitting a ticket is almost definitely not going to be the answer, but he will pass along the suggestion.

    FAQ

Why can't I turn in tokens after the boon is unlocked?
"You should be able to continue turning in tokens to the Bounders after you've unlocked the Boon. We'll be fixing this at the same time as the other deed bug, where it isn't bestowing properly to low level characters" - EdgeCase

What form will "Player Recognition" take?
    Bounder’s Bounty Player Recognition Details

Where can I get Bounder Tokens?

    • Kill mobs on the landscape, in skirmishes, and in all group instances (Small chance of 5 to 70 Bounder's Tokens)
    • Open hobbit gift boxes (Small chance of 25, 50, or 100 Bounder's Tokens. 1% chance of 250, 500, or 1,000)
    • Open lootboxes
    • Note: Turbine will release more ways to earn them in the future! (source)

Should I complete the 5-token quest?
It would be a waste of tokens, as they would not count toward you deeds or the server donations. The quest is only present to let you know about the quest hub.

Does Erebrandir's Horseshoe increase the drop rate?
It is more likely to decrease the drop rate since you are giving up stats while killing mobs. The Horseshoe's only documented effects are changing one line of text in the epic and only mildly helping during the Yule Festival. Recently, Sapience has said that the Horseshoe does not affect loot drops from chests.

What rewards can I barter for?
The following prices assume you buy items from the vendor that unlocks after your server donates a total of 1,750,000 Bounder's Tokens. Otherwise, the prices are higher (up to twice as much!).

    LOTRO Store Items
    5 100% Infamy/Renown (90 minutes) 135 Bounder's Tokens

How many tokens do I need to donate to complete each deed?

The good news is that all of your turn ins and progress will be tracked when the fix is applied. So you can keep turning in and doing the quest without any worries that you aren't getting progress. We just secretly locked it behind super secret dwarf doors. Once the fix is applied, you will also have access to the personal reward vendor if you have earned it! Sorry for the mix up and keep turning in those tokens!

How do Bounder's Tokens help the Bounders?
Bounder's Tokens represent bits of scrap and trinkets. The Hobbits re-smelt and re-furbish them, then then sell or barter them to acquire arms and armor to defend the Shire. For more information from a lore perspective, please read An Open Letter from the Bounders of the Shire.

How do you track the server donations?
I have a character sitting in front of The Bounder's Statue in Michel Delving on each server, so I can check myself approximately every twenty-four hours. There are also a number of generous people across the servers that have volunteered to provide numbers if I cannot check one day.

Where can I get more information on the Bounder's Bounty?

A very nice post, which will hopefully save me having to copy and paste an instructions post into glff whenever someone asks about it.

    One edit though:

Those regular bags dropped from mobs have a chance to give up to 70 tokens. Not sure if there is a higher value, but it is possible the max is 100, but I can confirm so far it is 5-70.

Thank you for compiling all this information together.. very useful! It would also be good to include information about the bounty quests and deeds. I've been confused about the difference between the 5 token and 50 token quests and how the deeds work with the Tiers, and what tiers open up what barter options.

On one of the barterers, if you click the drop down menu at the top, it will state which rewards are unlocked at tier 0, 1, 2 and 3 (tier 0 being unlocked to everyone immediately). The 5 token quest is a one-time quest just to let people know that the Bounder's Bounty exists. The 50 token quest is the main quest and the donation to the statue. It is this quest which also contributes to the deeds; there are 3 deeds, which are completed if you complete this 50 token quest 5, 20 and 50 times (for each tier respectively), meaning you will have to donate 2,500 tokens if you wish to unlock the tier 3 rewards.

The second barterer opens up once the server as a whole has donated 1.75 million tokens.

If I have donated 2500 tokens and unlocked the tier 3 rewards, do I then have to go and get more tokens to barter for them? In other words, are my donated tokens available to be used for barter, or are they spent and gone once donated?

They are spent and gone once donated; all tokens that you use for the quest will disappear, you will need to collect more if you want to barter the items given by the barterers.

My question would be, do we actually have to donate 3750 tokens total? 250+1000+2500? Or is it actually 250 then 750 and then 1500 for a grand total of 2500?

    2,500 tokens

All three tiers of deeds open when you donate your first batch of tokens.

The server numbers are up for the first forty-eight hours of the Bounder's Bounty event. In the first twenty-four hours some enthusiastically sprinted forward, and are now settling in for a marathon race. Others were slow to start, but have now rallied together, going so far as to more than double their daily donations!

There have been posts from people complaining about the drop rate. I will not be one of them, even though I have not seen a single token drop after four hours of play. Until Turbine releases the new ways to earn tokens, I view the tokens are an additional benefit, not a reason to play.

A year from now, I will not remember how many tokens I earned in the last forty-eight hours. However, I may remember the literal shouts of joy from a lore-master who finally completed a deed because I helped. And an instance filled with the hilarious role-playing antics of a burglar with a complusive gambling problem. Sure the instance took twice as long, but it was side-splitting fun.

That is what LOTRO is about for me: Fun and Friendship. Rallying together. Working and playing as a community. Tokens are icing on the cake.

    Blessings,

I haven't had a single hobbit token drop in 30+ hours of game time. Granted I'm not doing slayer deeds like the others but I'm doing instances. skirmishes and questing. Then again the RNG has always hated me. I never get gold drops either so I'm not upset, I'm used to it. Once I heard it was RNG related I lost interest completely. Good luck to everyone else though.

I am curious what Vanyar is doing to get so much farther ahead then everyone else. Is that server more populated then Brandywine?

The German servers are all doing pretty well. I think there's several factors at work.

    1) All German servers have a rather healthy population. There isn't as many of them as there is English-language servers, so the people who prefer to play in German don't have as many servers to chose from and don't spread out as much as the English-speaking population does.

    2) I suspect that the observed effect is due -at least in part- to the different peak-times. Most German-language players are likely to live in Europe, whereas the English-speaking servers are more likely to have populations spread out all around the globe. So I would expect the German-speaking servers to gain most of their token count during the European evenings, with much less being earned during the rest of the day.
This also means that the relative performance of the GE and the EN servers depends on when the OP logs in to get the numbers. Numbers gathered before the European peak hours are likely to be comparatively low, while numbers taken after the European peak hours would probably tend to look higher in relation to the other servers.

    3) In some parts of Germany (among them North Rhine-Westfalia, the area where the largest chunk of the German population lives), there is still school holidays right now. So people who still go to school have a lot more free time on their hands than during most other weeks of the year.

Thank you for your thoughts Anyelir, those are good to know! Perhaps we could see a graph updated when Europe is asleep/just waking up and the NA evening is ending, and put the two side by side for comparison?

An idea, Deathknyght: All servers are a lovely orange tint. Perhaps color code them by their language instead of having them all that peachy tint? Or, if you wish, their region, or RP status, or... however you want :P

As long as the data are collected at the same time each day, it doesn't matter what time it is around the world.

It might matter a little bit during the first 24 hours of the event. But after that, every server gets a full day of "active" playing in, no matter when those 24 hours start and end.

So you cant collect 100% PvMP tome until your server complete 1,750 000 donation? Since it requires no tier, means only after statue is done.

If you haven't completed any Tier, will you still be able to barter stuff when the server reaches it's goal?

I suspect that's a No for some of the stuff shown - just based on similar tiered barter such as for Frostbluff.
