$50,000 Raised during Extra life 2013 - Help kids, Get stuff!

First off this is such a cool thing you are doing Rick and I am so proud to be a LOTRO player right now :-) can't wait to see just how much money we end up raising for the kids, I am a mom of two and am going through a cancer scare at the moment, one of my children has a lump in there breast and we are waiting to find out the results. I can only imagine what families go through and it's causes like this that make these difficult times a little easier to cope with. Families don't have to chose between staying at there child's side vs. working to afford treatment.

second, I think I read that we will find out the winners for all the incentives on December 2nd, it this right?

If so how does that work out for the beta keys and HD keys with lunch day being Nov 18th??

Hmm, I donated a while ago and wasn't sure what I was supposed to do, so I think I just left all lotro information in the note. Is there something else I can do at this point?

update: preliminary test results came back clear, still waiting on labs but so far they are ruling out cancer, my son is only 12 so this is a huge relief for us. Just gives me more incentive to want to help out with this cause in any way I can. Think it's time to cash it the penny jar, rally the kin and tell anyone else I can find :-)

You're more than welcome Rick, it was a good but unexpected night for me as I only fired up my LoTRO client to update it after work and ended up being online all night trying to level up to 10 to join in as a bad'un.
I didn't quite make it before you left to play YT but it got me back into LoTRO after too long away which was a good thing and allowed me to donate and also made me aware so that I can be a future fund-raiser myself (rather than just a donator this time).

I don't know how many of you have a PS3 or a PSVita, but you can now get about $50 worth of codes for games and other items for donating to ANYONE'S donor page. So you'd get those from Sony on top of anything you earn from me. Assuming you donate $20 between now and when the codes run out (about 10,000 I think)- you'll see the new option in the donation page as a $20 donation with the Playstation LOGO on it. And yes, 100% of that donation go directly to the hospital.

Not for the codes for the horses or titles, but some of the raffle items so far were awarded to contributors as of the time their associated goal was reached, so those are gone, and only Sapience can define which ones (I confess myself confused by some of the wording). Per Sapience, contributions will be accepted until December 31 for the codes; the Largest Individual Contributor and the Largest Kinship Contributor totals will close on December 2. I'll edit in quotes from Sapience's earlier post...

A quick update. I know I still owe you all kinship updates, but this is HUGE!

Jeromy Adams from Extra Life stopped by the office today to say thank you for all the money you guys have donated and asked me if I thought we could really get to $50k by the end of the year. I told him I was getting a little tapped out for ideas and he dropped a BOMB on me.

In addition to the 5 Helm's Deep Premium edition keys I'll give out immediately when we hit $48k (all the HD keys for goals prioir to that have been sent, so if you didn't get one here's your last chance!), Jeromy has given us something utterly awesome for the $50k goal.

I'm just as amazed as anyone. I set of a goal of $25k last March and was pretty sure I was going to come up very short. The fact that we're now talking about potentially DOUBLING that goal is amazing to me. The fact that the folks at Extra life are so behind our hitting that $50k goal that they came out here and offered two passes to E3 to help make it happen is even more incredible.
