Are 1v1s farming?

You probably don't know me, but then again, I don't remember you. I stopped playing in the Moors on Vilya after RoI came out and went creep on a bunch of servers. Hatred? I don't even know you, mate. I remember seeing you post on these forums in hiatus about how your class was broken or something and that's about it. I used to log after I died a lot without getting bugger all, because that just isn't fun to me. Now I don't even care if I die; a side effect from playing this game with Turine. But I wouldn't know, since I wasn't around for it. Merely asserting an assumption, because you should know by now how Freeps can be.

I was playing in the moors when RoI came out. First on burg (quitted after audacity kicked in) and then permanent defiler for months till 1 month ago. Your brain must be great if you remember posts about me QQ about broken defilers. I cant remember a single post. Only thing refering to the bad position of the defiler is my signature. Which was a pun(? not sure if right word) to some champ saying similar stuff.

I dont care either if i die. If i would care i would play a warg, camp cooldowns and just attack when i know the freep will die (my warg's k/d is lower than my suicidal reaver). Nope i took defiler as my first class simply because my friend went ba. It could have been the other way around when we started playing. I know some people think i rage when i die and that i retreat asap because i dont want to be corpsejumped. No, i retreat asap because i dont want to spend time waiting for a rez. The corpse jumping issue doesnt bother me, since with my current set-up i cant even see people corpsejumping me.

I also won't deny that there are some players out there that won't 1v1 unless they have a sure shot of winning.

You'll never see me 1v1 in organised 1v1s. i used to watch 1v1's because that gave me insight to certain classes/players untill i got zerged because all i was doing was rezzing creeps. I dont want to retrait corruptions/skills each time someone challenges me to a organised 1v1. I dont want to slot 6 crit defenses like a certain defiler does when he's asked to 1v1 someone. Nope my current setup is good for both 1v1 and grouping.

And yes i still like 1v1's. Expecially those that last longer than 2min or those that doesnt get interupt because someone see someone else fighting and think he "needs" help.

I generally dislike losing in 1v1s, as does everyone. I wish I'd have been windowed in lotro for the start of the fight, I'm sure I would have beat you even with your CDs and me without mine.

Here's a tip: Dont stand afk in front of grams.

Personally I have no problem with 1v1s as long as that creep/freep isn't CONSTANTLY winning. UNLESS that creep/freep is fighting a "specific creep/freep" that is known for being really good and they want to figure out how to beat them. However they shouldn't just be constantly going at it. Take breaks. Reset the infamy/renown. Don't fight broken builds that are clearly immortal.

People who complain about 1v1ing and it being farming. Tend to be those people that can't do it themselves or are just a RvR. 1v1ing in general is the best way to figure out what your class is capable of. Then take that knowledge to grouping and expand that into things that need to be done in RvR.
