    Add Stories to Trophies

I have a lot of trophies. Would be cool to be able to add a "story" to the trophy of the mighty battle you had...would be fun to visit friends houses and see their creative side.

Also a shadow box wall hanging to put the trophy icons dropped from some of the rare mobs.

I hadn't thought of this until a couple of posts in this thread, but once I read them I thought it's a great idea:

Create apartment buildings in major cities like Bree, Michel Delving, Thorin's Hall and Celondim. They could be "instanced" like the current neighborhoods so that if there are 12 apartments in a building (perhaps four to a floor and a building three floors tall) you could use a "pass key" to get into a separate instance, and the number of instances could be whatever is needed according to demand.

If you had a three story apartment building in Bree I bet you could have 100 instances accessible via pass keys and they'd all fill up in a matter of days, unlike the remote neighborhoods that frequently have a lot of empty houses in them.

that is kinda what they have now, except every neighborhood is like an instance, idk how populated having 1 neighborhood would be and having the houses themselves be instances, whether it would be too many people around one building entrance coming and going, but then again the crafting hall in bree is probably a pretty dense amount of people.

What we currently have are basically suburbs, which make no sense in a fantasy/medieval society where a lot of people don't have a horse and are getting around on foot. Having apartments in the major cities would be a great way to give them life and traffic. My champ over on Landy would snap one up in a heartbeat. After a hard day of slaying monsters out in the sticks, she'd love to come back to the city and its amenities and music.

Would just like to see each character getting his or her own house. Account sharing quickly uses up hook space and it makes no sense for my Hobbit or my Dwarf to have to live in an Elf house.

I would like to see a different look of the neighboorhoods. having different looking houses on the outside. or perhaps in dwarf neighboorhoods being in the mountain. "I never heard of dwarfs living in huts". and them being less race typed but more place typed ( grasslands, icelands, sea-area, treehouses,). townlike whith combined houses. ( not to people sharing a house but the 2 under 1 roof option), farmhouses etc. possibilaty for an outbuilding like a stable or a toolshet or even an outside toilethouse or a places for domestic animals. ( cow, pigs, sheep, dogs). either by letting a profession build them with special sorts being bought in store letting you buy builders with a hytbold idea needing rep with a party or completing a metadeed to get a surtain style. Animals being able to purchase or perhaps caught or special ones that are only available through tp or mithril coins ( like the lm-pet system). and making the neighbourhoods more intaractable. wild animals ( not killable) npc neighboors that bring news of festivals and give you small quests like helping cleaning there house or milking there cows or perhaps even with a game area like those near the festivalgrounds in bree.
and perhaps the house itself upgradable. Not just by buying new things. but crafting, deeding, gaining reputation and questing needing things to drop from mobs or bosses.

I know almost nothing about how much preshure things put on the server. ( you probably already noticed) But I mostly would like the feeling as if your where living in some sort of village like the new bree and the villages sinds the isenguard expension be it dunlending rohirrimvillage or even leaning toward aldburg.

I would love to see new housing trophies in LOTRO. I loved to hunt down specific bosses, which dropped a little "memory", a housing item, which i can always see when i enter my house, and remember all the fun. But first please fix some of the old housing items, like Nanu's Hiding Place (when we use this rare trophy the turtle just appears, but doesn't do anything), or like Saruman's Orrery.

Also, new housing areas would be cool, too. Like Rohan, or even Moria.

    Someone once said...

Most of what I will write has been written before...probably numerous times.
I have not purchased a house because by the time I decided I wanted one, a letter came saying that the housing was to be restructured. After reading the majority of comments on this thread, I realize that this restructuring has been in talks for years. But the second reason I haven't purchased a house is because I've never seen anyone in any of the neighborhoods I have visited. I canvassed a couple people in my kinship and no one seemed to really participate in this part of the game.
So I ask what is the purpose of owning a house?
-If I purchase a house, it would be nice to have something to do besides decorating. (I usually check out the fishing while visiting)
-If I am to purchase a house, I would prefer to purchase one for each character rather than one for the account. Some of my characters would prefer living in a flat rather than having a house that had no yard to upkeep.
-I also felt that, in the Shire, at least, working vegie/flower patches would be essential to the Hobbit lifestyle. (though I have not figured out what to do with the flowers besides selling them) Crops like grains and pipe-weed could be left to the farms; and other crafts could be left to the crafting centers.
-Maybe there could be a voluntary "defense of the neighborhood" listed in the skirmish finder for those who would like that. It does seem odd that since Orc-kind are so close that they have not raided some of the neighborhoods.
-Neighborhood festivals that correspond to the Middle Earth Festivals would be great.
-Including a small stable for horses or the ability to own a pet would be nice also. I don't think pets should be limited to common cats, dogs, etc. Lynx would be nice too.
-Not really related to housing but while I'm writing; I'd love to be able to read some of the pages of the books that I have collected as deeds i.e. ringlore of eregion, the best defense etc.
-I was a little disappointed that there were no seasons depicted in middle earth, though I suppose it would be difficult to change the NPC's clothing 4 times a year. Maybe limiting seasons to the neighborhoods would be better.
    Thanks.
