Now I have seen it in game and I'm very sad about the look of the male elf waists And the arms are still too bent (the upper arms look fine though, and the pinched area isn't as visible anymore which is good). My former slender very very gentle elf looks ready for something, and it's not dancing or reciting poetry that seems to be on his mind. His new torso makes him look thicker and "manly" and human

I tried making a new character to see the sliders and the most slender option and most beefy option has very little change in waist size.

Why are they keeping their arms slightly raised at all times? It looks very uncomfortable. The idle animation looks relaxed just for him to suddenly turn all stiff and tense.

It's nice that we still can make slim characters, but I'd prefer if the waist got tweaked a bit more to make elves more beautiful and elegant. Those who like stronger characters can still choose to move the slider away from the left. Maybe file away a tiny bit on the sides and a little at the lower back? Not all men have completely straight backs and flat bottom

I checked my male human too, and he has been very much beefed up. A lot more muscly arms and a lot wider waist.

This makes me feel once again like people like me aren't wanted and that we should make manly men like everybody else so as not to bother those who prefer that and hate gentle "feminine" looks on male characters

    I miss my characters

    Thumbs down

From what I saw so far of the changes to the statue and pose of male elf and female human I can but sigh and shake my head.

I do use mostly the most slender form for the elf and the first I saw after logging in was quite a shock. I certainly didn't want such an compact and somewhat shrunk elf...

That rigid snapping into an unmoving pose with the male elf combined with the uncomformtable positioning of arms and hands in that unnormal pose for most of the time is quite sad. With a runesatchel at the side one hand vanishes into the satchel. Standing idle and relaxed and at leisure is something complete different from that forced looking standing at attention and holding breath. It seems that at some point the breath is depleted and that the avatar takes a normal position with another visible snap taking a deep breath before snapping back to attention.
Same comes with the human female. That pose is as rigid and unnormal.
Depending on clothing the arms and hands almost scraping the body. Please reconsider that changes.

    Unhappy

I honestly do not see why they felt the need to bulk up the male elves and humans. They really need to trim down the waist sizes...
My elf is supposed to be thin and supple, if I wanted him large I would have moved the slider to the right.
One of my humans is supposed to be a vegetarian with a thin, sinewy build as another one of my human characters is a frail old man.
Now my characters look like they are beefed up and are ready to fight (If I wanted that I wouldn't have slide the bar all the way to the left.)
The character changes have ultimately ruined the RP aspect of the game for me. Not only do I want my characters back, but now I have literally no desire to even play the game because every time I look at them I just sigh.
