What is the most beneficial

I always use addle after flashing blades, but I know there are burglars around that use it after double edged strike.
What do you guys think is the most beneficial? And did you test it? Or could it be that they do this for a faster burst in the moors (cut the animation between 2 of their most damaging skills)?

I use it after surprise strike.
If I want maximum burst i start with surprise strike instead of CA and I do stealth-SS even in normal rotation if I want to stack two CA dots. I dont cut flashing blades animation since HD, when the animation was shortened. I tried to cut the CdG animation and it didnt seem so beneficial to me, but I didnt try cutting double-edged yet. Thing is suprise strike from stealth - either really from stealth or after FA isnt without addle worth it and addle makes it a really nice and worthy skill, double edged-strike is worth it even on its own.

Yeah, I was wondering if SS is a viable choice after I asked the question. I use SS pretty often in my rotations (to apply and stack the not improved bleed from cunning attack), but I don't have a weapon with the SS legacies so I might make another one to get the maximum out of CA and SS (I'm currently switching in my Gambler club to boost my cunning attack as much as possible, this way you can get up to 4 bleeds from cunning attack on your enemy).

Yes I swap for gambler weapon before CA as well and i too have the CA stack legacy on it, but I dont do the non-stealth CA that often to have 4 stacked, 1-2 max But I stack as many of them as possible when I play Gambler, I think even 5 or more is possible if youre lucky
