I miss pvpingno one is ever out anymore makes me very sad nim pvp population dropped drastically from different lvl caps
While I'm not playing lotro atm, when I left game few weeks ago there were no freeps on. There are still enough good creep players for good action, and also some new players/names coming, but population of freeps decreased significantly in RoR and HD, close to no old players coming back.
When I came on my freep on lv95, all I saw was very dissapointing freep players' base. I have to say creep players' are much more welcoming and helpfull for new players. I don't say all freep players are bad, but in general, I blame them for current state of moors on our server.
I miss pvp too on Nimrodel, even if I started just some months ago. From some weeks Moors are completely empty and dead. I always come out to check if someone's out but...nothing. I don't know if maybe we can do something for that, maybe we can start planning some action so players know when they should come to Moors (I am just suggesting)... or players will continue transfer their toons on other servers and Nimrodel will "die slowly". Me and some of my kinnies would like to do something for that cause we're on a great server that has great pve. We just miss some pvp.
Let's say that: freeps don't come out cause there are no creeps coming out cause there are no freeps...etc etc... it's like a dog biting his tail.
But what if we say to freeps and creeps: let's come out on *day* at *hour*. What will happen? Maybe nothing but I think it's worth trying.
(sorry I am crazy and maybe I am wrong but I don't like to see the server die doing nothing..I think it's worth trying)
Galvestel/Nimeldol
It is very sad to go out in the moors and do laps, or even AFK at grams, and find nothing.
I am down to the idea of planning a time to pvp. Name it and I will be there.
It is a sad state across the board, not just the Nimrodel server.
I have asked around and people are moving toons to where the action is, Brandywine. However, with all the hype of Brandywine pvp, the server remains laggy and downright unplayable at times. In fact, during the evening time, my preferred time slot, it is absolutely horrendous when the hordes on both sides come out. During my time on nimrodel, 7 years to be exact, this particular lag or any sort unplayable lag happened during the zone lines fiasco back in the day.
In the attempt to revive the action, both sides have to start contributing to pvp's patching. This means complete and total coordination of action, advertising of play times in world chat, kin events, etc. This is a gruesome and unappreciative task, but it must be done.
The mass exodus of Sons of Durin creeps/freeps is actually a good thing. The departute of Nikitah, Gemodi, Grom and a few others should be taken as a rejoicing moment in server's pvp history and built on. The server should unite as a result.
I do hope that the remaining population will consider my suggestions. Before you all call me a hypocrite, as my BA is on BW as well, please note that my mains- mini/captain/burg/warg and rank 8+ creeps still on the server ready to jump in at the moment's notice. My heart will always truly lie with Nimrodel.
I conclude this wall of text with my last suggestion, be better!
Thank you.
Yours very truly,

Got tired of waiting for ANY action on Nim, so i too transferred (my reaver) to BW.
Last few weeks when i logged on on Nim, there were no freeps or creeps whatsoever, and i dont expect it to get better considering the amount of Nim creeps/freeps in see on BW.
Lag can be bad on BW but its better then no action at all.

Nimrodel without Skull won't be the sameLuckily I missed no action, will have memories of pretty good action for most of time.
I was thinking about transfering too, but found that quitting game is much cheaper and gives me more time for other activities...
I keep getting my head handed to me in a brown paper bag no matter what side I'm playing, so obviously I'm not doing it right.

Hey guys ELKHUNTER here just saying hi
I logged in it was a very sad state I have missed all my old nimrods friends
all servers are hurting for pvpers had quite few transfers from nimrod to landrovel
kind of like Volo said if u can organize pvp times then would be great make it work
if want to go to lag fest on brandy that's cool
if you like 1v1s and small group action and full raid action check out landrovel
most people come to landy cause brandy to big and laggy we are getting a lot of tribe and kin transfers which is making really good action atm
we are 2nd biggest American server check it all out see what servers have to offer
later all
-----ELKHUNTER
Ahem, North-American server to be correct =D
Anyway, I hardly find the time or desire to log in anymore. Even when I do, I find myself logging off within an hour or less. I am patiently waiting for an addition to the game that will pull me back in like a minstrel revamp at 75, for instance =D.
I have heard about landy. Always had the highest regard for it throughout my tenure in the game.
I hope all is well Elk. Keep em rockin'

Well, perhaps the example of a 75 mini was excessive. However, the grind is just unbearable to get that toon rockin'. I was complacent when they just had the aud requirement to pvp, I could get that by doing what I do. PVE jewellery would have taken a little time, obtainable though. Now, to be on par, you ought to mindlessly grind it, grind it good. Not my cup of tea =)

It is sad but a good few folks from a number of servers are making a go over on Crickhollow. There's 1v1s and group action most of the time.
The freeps tend to pool into smaller groups and fight other smaller groups of creeps. When they merge into a heal-zerg then the creeps respond with raids too.
The only thing that's an annoyance is that no one will really tell you where "the action" is. This is because they have small vs small groups and don't want anyone busting up the party. If you get into a tribe you can nearly always find action but when tribeless you have to wander about until you find the nooks n crannies where they fight. The groups tend to return to fight in the same spots once you stumble over the locals.
Whoever says “I” creates the “you.” Such is the trap of every conscience. The “I” signifies both solitude and rejection of solitude. Words name things and then replace them. Whoever says tomorrow, denies it. Tomorrow exists only for him who does not seek it. And yesterday? Yesterday is Kolvillàg: a name to forget, a word already forgotten.

So...as much fun as it is being the only one in the moors, is there any chance of a comeback for this server? It seems the entire endgame community has left for greener pastures, some to Brandy, some that just don't see the point in logging in anymore.
I've seen raiding kins disband, and players move on to other games, but this is an entire server that is basically on life support. Even in my kin, raid groups are gone, Glff/World is dead, and officers are talking of transferring to Brandy. If the Turbine Marketing department is reading, what are you doing to promote the smaller servers? We need more than F2P action in Bree, we need a reason for the vets to stay and keep this server alive.

It looks like a few folks are making an effort to be logged in on Fridays at 7.
Wish they'd specify a time zone, 'cause 7 PM in Europe is too close to the middle of my workday for me to be on.![]()

Haha, hey guys. I didn't realize that the game had gone belly-up, so to speak.
Anyway, nice to see your guys' noob names again. I always disliked the cliquey bullcrap of PvMP. I was pretty insecure growing up and it really sucked sometimes for me. That and I always had a poor computer and terrible internet connection, so probably noone even remembers me. It's fine, moving on to new things.
Goodluck and have fun out there in your new pursuits and interests.
