    Beorning Suggestions

When I started playing beorning i noticed some stuff was missing in my opinion here a list off what i think should get added.

    Animations:
    - Fix the animations for all weapon type's in man form some skill just look stupid when u use them with a club

    Weapons:
    - New Weapon Type For beorning (Something like a Battleaxe)
    - Give Beornings a bow

    Looks In human form:
    - Make the human form of beorning look like bear maybe add a little more hair
    - Make them a little bit bigger then all other classes

    Bear looks:
    - More Customization for the bear: Armour, More war paintings or something like that
    - Choose between bear cub and bear

    Traits:
    - Change Race Trait For +5% club damage to 5% Club and Axe Damage.

    Skills:
    - Summon a bear companion for 10 seconds
    - Command Animals Makes a animal fight for you for 10 seconds or just summon one its in the lore so thats one thing i think is missing for them.
Beorn kept many animals at his residence, such as horses and dogs. His animals were all extremely intelligent; his dogs, for instance, could walk on their hind legs while carrying things with their forelegs, set the table, and able to speak. Beorn's horses could also understand what their master said. Beorn was also capable of speaking in the tongue of beasts, as he could communicate with bears. When he spoke to his dogs, his words sounded like barks twisted into some form of speech
    - More Support skills.
    - Add A Debuff to Vigilant Roar / Vigilant Cry
    - A slow in redline

    Legendary Items:
    - Remove the +Power Passive
    - Add +Wrath Passive

    Misc:
    - Make bears friendly when u transform into bear form unless they are corrupted or something.
    - More Class Trainers
    - Skill Bar that changes when u transform into a bear
    - Make them Immune to power debuffs (Annoying when u see a debuff and its just power that doesnt effect them)
    - When stunned in bear form make it so you dont go back to human form
    - More Wrath 100 Wrath makes you run out fast maybe add some gear with more wrath or add them to a passive on legendary items or a legacy
    - Maybe make beorning a Off-tank class in bear form with more aggro skills in yellow line
    - Just a beorning region with houses or quests

    Missing items:
    - Class Recipes
    - Class Items (You can only get the carving as a legendary item now)
    - Moria Trait point book
    - Some Missing Instance Armour Sets

    Item Ideas:
    - Wrath Pots gives sholars the ability to make potions that give beornings +10 Wrath or +5 Wrath Every 3 Secs for 15 Seconds

    Bugs:
    - CC breaks bear form (Not sure if it is a bug)

Ehh, sounds a little too much like a Champion to me. Plus, Beornings already have battleaxes. Though I'm pretty baffled as to why we can use clubs and axes but not hammers or maces. They operate under kind of the same smashy-smashy principle.

We're treading into Lore-master territory here. It might make sense from both a logic and lore standpoint, but from a game design view, classes need to be reasonably differentiated. That's part of why Champs don't use shields anymore. Players (myself included) often covet the skills of other classes. That's why I have 8 characters -- all of different classes -- at this point. But if you lump too many skills into one class and make it too powerful, the game starts to feel pointless pretty quickly.

Agreed. At the very least, I wish Grimbeorn's Mark wouldn't de-activate with stuns/dazes. It seems more like a toggle skill/stance (which usually aren't undone by stuns) than a channeled skill.

    Agreed.

I also hope they add class titles for class quests in a future update.

It's a new class, so I totally understand that some things are still in development. I wasn't here when RKs and Wardens were first added, so I don't know how long it took for armor sets to crop up with either of those classes.

All the same, I don't like feeling like I have to drag my feet on leveling my Beorning. I find the class thoroughly enjoyable. But I might stop at 50 and work on another character if armor sets/Moria books aren't included in an update before that time.

The class trait point other classes get in moria for doing the book and for guild rep are attained by other ways for beornings. Much easier to get . One of the recipes i noticed are missing are the class mounted bridle relics.

Moria trait points are missing for beornings because unlike other classes, beorning already gets two trait points by completing lvl 15 and lvl 30 class quests. So it is WAI that we don't get any extra trait points from Moria deeds.

Aside from that, there are three things I find missing from beornings compared to all other classes (my beorning is only lvl 42 though):

    1. Ranged pull. Yes, bee-swarm can be used for pulling after using Biting Edge for wrath, and we are getting a skill at lvl 50 (Nature's Vengeance) that can be used for pulling. However, both of those skills have only 20m range and 8 second cooldown. All other classes have a skill with low cooldown and long range or they can use a bow for pulling (except burglar that is basically in same situation with beorning). I know both can use consumable throwing axes/daggers but still, either give us an item for our ranged item slot that we can use for pulling OR give us a long distance, short/no cooldown skill that we can use for pulling, like captain's mark. This skill could be some kind of roar that would be usable in both human and bear form.

    2. Stuns breaks bear form. Mobs use stunning quite frequently now, and especially when players go to higher level zones, and I find myself fighting more in human form if I fight sentient beings because I usually get stunned right away when I switch to bear and start using relentless maul... :/

    3. At least red traitline don't seem to have interruption skill in human form. This should be added!

Really because im leveling a beorn with a hunter and we both did the 15 and 30 clas quet and got 1 trait point each... and in moria she was able to purchase a book for a point where I was not and she also had the 58 class quest (which beorns have) so to me thats 1 missing point for Beorn

Personally I don't know about other classes, as I don't have low-level ones, but that's what MadeOfLions said and other players have been saying the same. That other classes do not get trait points from lvl 15 and lvl 30 class quests but beornings do. Maybe that hunter misunderstood something? Lotro-wiki says this about hunters: "Completion of Class Quests (level 15, 30) does not grant Turbine Ponts or show up in your Deed Log, but can trigger the appropriate Meta Deed Tier to show up in your log."

    Pics?

Because, the Beorning's lvl 15 Class quest gives a whole Trait point AND advances a Class Meta-Deed, which would award another Trait point when completed.
The Hunter's lvl 15 Class quest gives a Bear hat, a Title AND advances a Class Meta-Deed, which would award another Trait point when completed.

Now, IF the Hunter DID get a Trait point after completing the lvl 15 Class quest, then it's most likely due to the fact that they completed the Class Meta-Deed.

    However, that depends on how many days it took you them to get to lvl 15;
    • Focused and Ready takes at least 5 days to complete at 100 per day.
    • Swift and Sharp takes at least 3 days to complete at 350 per day.
