what is going on all Servers closed on a Saturday with no notice. did the game just officially die? I just came back a week a go after almost three years and what? are servers being merged ? or what

As soon as they heard that you're coming back, they shut down the servers.
Jokes asides, there's been some server issues, the game is still alive and will be so in the future
