    Captain Virtues

I'm a 100 cappy on Arkenstone, and I want to know what YOU use as your virtues! Different styles of play call for different virtues.

I currently trait Zeal, Charity, Compassion, Innocence, Tolerance, but I'm looking to get the expertise of others to see what's best in the modern age!

    Thanks

Zeal, Innocence, Compassion, Tolerance, Fidelity is very heavy on mitigations. Good for PvP (my main activity in this game).

Edit: oh wow exactly the same as above...

Tolerance and Fidelity for tmit. You don't need pmit at all. Charity, Innocence, Compassion -> big mistake.

Discipline (171 might) > Innocence (513 tmit) + Compassion (513 tmit) with essence gear.

    Get Honour, Valour, Discipline, Fidelity.
    Drop Zeal, Charity, Compassion, Innocence.

Off the top of my head I think I run: Tolerance, Charity, Innocence, Compassion, and Zeal on most my toons. I'll use Fidelity instead of Tolerance on my non-agi classes.

Charity, Innocence, and Compassion are some of the best virtues for pvp-so no they are not big mistakes
If you're looking for pve'ing virtues, other ones might not be bad to put over those 3. I'm too lazy to switch virtues so I just leave mine as they are.

Ok, you're the pvp expert. Is there a lot of armour-debuffing going on in pvp that it's good to overcap physical mits so much?

The short list of worthwhile virtues on a captain would be:
    Valour
    Zeal
    Fidelity
    Innocence
    Compassion
    Discipline
Tolerance (there are many more efficient ways to get Tact mit, but its still viable)
Charity+Honour (The small dose of Tact/Phys mit is nice, but the RNG nature of resistance makes this stat perhaps less valuable than more straightforward stats like mits, morale, and mastery)
Fortitude (if you're going 'glass cannon')

Compassion, and Innocence take a bit of a back seat in PvE where common mit is far easier to cap than Phys mit, while Discipline loses a decent bit of value in PvP where that huge chunk of might is less important than maxing morale/mits pools with fewer essence slots available.

For me, in PvP I run Valour, Zeal, Fidelity, Innocence, and Compassion, and if I PvE'd more I'd grind out Discipline to swap with Compassion.

Creeps doing non-tactical damage types use orc/fell-wrought damage types, against which armour is only 20% effective. If you hover over your mitigations section to get the tooltip you can see both your common and orc/fell-wrought damage mitigations. With lvl 100 armour, it takes approximately 27500 'common' mits to cap phys mits at ~16800 (depending on +armour virtues). There are also a number of armour/mitigation debuffs creeps have that make going over these values potentially worthwhile.

I personally don't like to go far over cap if at all, but I don't imagine it being a bad thing to go a little over cap for those kind of debuffs.

And what spelunker said. Idk exact numbers cuz idc but ill assume hes right

Hey, I'm a Captain on Arkenstone as well - Fellrohir, level 100. I currently have Charity, Valour, Discipline, Empathy, and Justice. I've used Zeal and Innocence at times depending on relative Virtue levels and caps. I usually travel with a small fellowship of friends and don't PvP, so I'm not optimized, but have enough to deal with most things and have fun.

Loyalty, Honor, Discipline, Innocence, and Fidelity -- I only PVE, have no idea what PVP would require.

Lately I've been thinking to swap in Charity and swap out Innocence but I'll have to test it with a toughened skirm to see which way is better.

I currently rock Zeal, Honour, Fidelity, Discipline, Confidence. Too lazy to grind more deeds to finish other virtues to swap things in and out.
