Connection closed error message

Wanted to log in.

Error window showed me, that client launch failed. Cannot log into myaccount.lotro.com as well.
People still in the game seem to have no problems.

PLEASE FIX ASAP!

I find it a bit mind boggling that there isn't anything in place that alerts the staff currently on duty as to when something goes wrong. It seems you have to rely on people posting on the forums to alert you that there is an issue. ./doublefacepalm

This just started a little bit ago and I was driving, so I could not update the social feeds. It has now been done as well as an update here. The team is working as fast as they can to resolve the issue.

I keep getting the error, "Error logging in! Connection closed"... Anyone have any idea when this problem will be fixed?

We were alerted as soon as it happened and the team had started working on it. I happened to be in the car on my way home so I could not yet post.

Same error message and just checked and didn't see any announcements from LOTRO on Facebook or Forum.

Yeah, same for me!
I did some seach on google, and I can find a "similiar issue". It had something to do with IE and the launcher not working properly together....
I tried it via the solutiont to that issue, but it didn't work. (Ofcourse it didn't...)

We can only hope someone from Turbine support actually reads this, and responds.
