The next Imladris Revelries will happen December 28th at 6pm server time in Winter-home (snowball fields). RPers, those interested in RP and want to see what it's all about, and those who just want to throw snowballs are invited to attend.

    From Esteiel's in-game postings:

As so many people currently seem to spend the winter in Winter-home to enjoy the Yule Festival, we hope to have a little get-together of everyone interested in talk and happiness and cheer at the snowball field in Winter-home tomorrow on the 28th from 6-8pm EST/servertime.

It's October! In celebration to the month of frights and fears, Tugillion and Fannir will be hosting an evening of scary stories at Bag End. The event will take place on the 4th at 6pm EST/Servertime. Come join with a spooky tale or an eerie poem! Even if you don't have a story to share, we still encourage anyone interested in RP to join. There will be plenty of tea and sweets for all, hope to see you there!

Alas October is nearing its end. Yet wait…there is still one more event to be had! On the 25th at 5pm EST/Servertime, hosts Tugillion and Fannir will be throwing a costume party and contest at the Methel-stage in The Shire.

The contest portion of the event will be held at 6pm (although the time may vary). The costumes will be judged into two categories, ‘most creative’ and ‘scariest’.

As per usual, all interested roleplayers are encouraged to come. Even those who do not wish to partake in the contest are still invited to join in with the fun!

Tolkien believed in powerful men and powerful women, even if the latter received a lesser focus. He held romance as precious, something with the same magic and power as hope, as mercy, as fighting for a worthy cause.
There were two types of romance that Tolkien saw fit to tell of. The candle that burns twice as bright- those loves that changed the world, and ended before we knew it, oft in tragedy. And second, those loves that came after battles hard fought, love that earned a respite, and all we see of them is the "happily ever after".

It is out of no disrespect to Tolkien, but in a very different vein, that I bring you Single's Night at the Bent Spade, hosted by Firiun Fidhara.
If you have never been to the Bent Spade, it's located at 5 Long Street, Harpole, Bree Homesteads. It is a silly bar. There isn't much more to say.
We will have a bear surfing competition, compatibility quizzes by Fedeloc, free food, dancing and music why not, poetry reading, and other such nonsense!
If you're told to "get a room", there is a guest house across the street.

Come for romance, come to play music, read your gushy poems, or just to watch the awkwards!

    6:00-10:00 PM CST, Sunday 12/21/14

Feel free to utilise the Spade even after the party ends

Saturday, January 3, starting at 7pm eastern standard time

Welcome to the New Year. There will be a party at the festival area of Thorin's Hall /or the tavern in the basement of Thorin's Hall (depending on the size of the gathering). There will be plenty of food and drink, music, dancing, storytelling, and mayhaps some goals set for the year to come. Dress in your best. Tune your lute. Bring a friend. Everyone is invited.

    Saturday, March 14, 8-10pm EST.

Spring is here and what better way to celebrate than with a full pint of the strongest brew in Eriador! The most gracious hosts Fannir and Tugillion invite all to join them for a wild night at The Ivy Bush in Hobbiton. There will be plenty of music, dancing, and of course bullroarer's brew!

(( After the RP, there will be an OOC Keg Game held at their Shire abode: 3 Brookbank Street, Harwood, Shire Homesteads. For more information, contact either Tugillion or Fannir in-game.))

Really looking forward to this event tonight! It's been far too long since we've had an RP event on the server - hope to see a lot of people there!

I was there and had a wonderful time! Tugillion was an outstanding and patient host to someone who has never participated in this sort of thing before. I learned how to RP and followed the party to the keg game in Hardwood where hilarity ensued. I can't wait to do it again! Hopefully, the next one can be scheduled once again on the weekend so everybody can stay as long as possible.

Tugillion says thank you Anyways, we're glad that you had as much fun attending as we had hosting! As for the next event, I'd like to inform those interested that at least Fannir and Tugillion won't be hosting anything till next month (We're both very busy irl and don't have the time to spare) It was nice seeing so many new faces at the last IR. So for those who love RP and Imladris, please stick around, events will commence soon again!

There goes a silly old tale about a bizarre man who sings within the woods, but nay, this is not the one about Tom Bombadil. Some call this man the Mad Hatter; although he's probably some kooky elderly hobbit--who knows!

Anywho, Tugillion and Fannir will be hosting a Mad Hatters tea party this saturday at The Greeen Dragon in Bywater. The event will start at 6pm EST/Servertime. Come in your favorite, fanciest, or funniest hat! Specialty teas imported from Lothlórien will be served alongside various sweets for all who attend. As for dress code restrictions, it is kindly asked to leave weapons behind--it's a tea party after all

((I also felt it might be helpful to inform players that attending the event on a dwarf character could result in some rude treatment. Dwarves won't be completely turned away, but they will be subject to some prejudice attitudes the characters Tugillion and Fannir hold. Sorry! ))

I'm sad to have missed the party this time around, I've been with some classmates on the Gladden server. I hope there will be another opportunity in June!
