Question Housing Escrow - How long will items remain?

I am wondering if housing escrow had changed with the somewhat recent upkeep/lockout period changes.
is it still 30 days, or has that time frame been extended?

With the upcoming server closures i have started to go through my 11 houses and 3 kin houses and kick items back to the characters that they are bound to, unfortunately what i failed to realize was that i have way more items bound to my main character then i could ever hope to store in my vault and bags.

I would be very interested to know how long those items will remain in my escrow before disappearing, before i start deciding which items i need to destroy.
    Thanks.

GREAT question! I hope Turbine will extend the escrow to 90 days.

Currently the system is that if your house is foreclosed then the items in escrow never expire.

If, however, you abandon your house then the 30 day expiry still applies.

There are two other methods which will cause items to end up in your escrow, which those answers don't really clarify.

    1. Using the return to owner option on housing decorations, which sends the item(s) into escrow.

    2. Items being moved into escrow when transferring servers.

Those are the two methods i would really like answers for.
Is transferring servers the same as abandoning a house?
Is it the same as your house being foreclosed?
How are items that have been placed in escrow using the return to owner button treated?

I thank you, none the less, for at least shedding some light on the subject.
But the questions i was really hoping for an answer on, remain unanswered.

I posed this where staff would see it, quoting your three specific questions, and got this reply from the exec. prod.:
