Hey guys, I am thinking of coming back to LoTRO and wanted to see the activity level of the server. I started playing in beta and played pretty steadily through 2012, but dropped off due to real life and just got bored of the game.
What's the content like now and how's the community on Silverlode?

I would say activity on the server has really been bolstered by Update 16. Of course it depends on what you want to do in the game Raiding/Grouping, PvP, or just playing casual? If you want to PvP Silverlode probably isn't the server to go to, but for Raiding/Grouping its not hard to find groups to do stuff with. If you are going to play casual, well I'd say any server works for that.

Welcome back to the game. There is a thread showing where many are moving to. It is the one that says vote from Aug 7. The servers will have more people in them now and there are some who are moving to a server where there is more activity that is not quests or deeds and such where people can hang out and enjoy other people. Hope you being back goes well for you.
