Good to hear... But, that doesn't answer the question.
These new recipes... Are going to continue to be in the Westemnet tier (ie. Tier 9)? Or, in the highly unlikely chance, are they going to be in a brand new crafting tier (ie. Tier 10)?
And, are we ever going to get Bulk versions of Improved Westemnet Board/Ingot/Leather recipes?

Wonderful. Thanks!
On a side note (and feeling for all the Guild Cooks out there), why not add craftable Essences to Guild Cooks as their "legendary equivalent" recipes.
And as a person married to such a Guild Cook player - is there any hope of adding Crafting Storage similar to what has been added in DDO?
It is astounding at how much inventory a cook requires to maintain their pantry - and such a feature would be well-received (I'm certain)!

I'd love a cap raise, but can live without one. It certainly is possible to rework recipes to accommodate the new tier without a cap raise.

There is no new level cap in Update 17.
More details on the crafting additions will be coming soon, once the designer working on them is ready to discuss.
Wonderful news. Glad to see crafting will be getting some love (and I do hope the nodes in Gondor are altered to something more fitting).

i cant wait to be completely disappointed again with crafting, i have zero faith that you guys can do this,
boring boring boring worthless and useless is how most people describe the broken crafting system in lotro, i sure hope you guys keep up with traditions in spoon feeding us broken and refurbished content, cant wait to see all the useless items we can craft with the new update
frankly, i really think that turbine is so out of touch with their customers that when update 17 launches and we see the new crafting that it will reflect turbines care and concern for the people that play their game
crafting is a waste of time in lotro, and i would know, i have every one of my characters guided, and the most i craft is the legendary item from time to time and scrolls and tokens, with the new update, if its not the biggest fail of all time, minstrels should get new instruments, and a few other classes can upgrade their level 95 crafted only class items upgraded
but lets face it, with essence gear and high quality jewelry from instances, there is nothing else to craft thats practical, some consumables and class items, of which i predict will be just as generic as everything else in lotro
i am calling you guys out right now at turbine, new crafting is going to fail and be a disappointment and i do not think that you even have what it takes to produce something special anymore

Getting really sick of this stuck in one place junk we got going.
I don't mind level cap not going up (I'm more of a soft cap, so I don't feel like I'm wasting exp) but massive spam of recipes in 1 tier is just silly.

tier 10 gondorian is good idea; long overdue. if we can transfer all the existing lvl 100 westments to the new tier 10, that would be very pleaseant. most importantly, PLEASE do NOT raise the level cap in u18 either, and not until there is a way to scale up the essences we already have. essences have bene out since u14; and im still working on getiing my 3 lvl 100's decked out; especially given the amazing moors essence gear options (THANK YOU FOR THOSE BTW)
A new crafting tier presumably means another tier of rep with the Crafting Guilds. How much rep do we need to start saving ?
