The Twilight of Riddermark

Now that announcements about server closings have been made, it seems highly unlikely that Riddermark will be among those left open.

That said, I'd like to thank all the peeps on this server that I knew, as well as all the ones I grouped with, fought forum-wars with, and those of whom I was in a kinship with. It's been a blast, maggots. All good things must come to an end, though. Hopefully I'll be running into a few of you on different servers during my on and off game retirement phase.

I'm originally known as Adangorn. I started my captain in Riddermark since 2010 and I still play this game but not as much as I used to. There were good times and some bad, but overall I had fun when it was the golden days. I'm probably going to see some of you guys when I transfer, but Riddermark will always be my home and I will miss it. I just want to say thanks to the freeps and creeps that I have played against and with in Riddermark. I'm either transferring to Landroval or some other server, but I haven't fully decided yet. Goodbye and take care my friends.

My memories of Ridder I'll keep inside. I have been a part of too many farewell threads to stomach another one, however, having said that. I will surely miss this server, it was where I started when it opened, and learned all the goods and bads from all you yahoos over the years. Farewell

Greetings to anyone who still visits the Riddermark boards. The wife and I started playing here the day Ridder opened as well. Had alot of great times, and met alot of cool people, especially in the Moors......we definitely miss those days.

All speculation at this point of course, but we will probably move to Landroval when they pull the plug on Ridder.....been creeping there a while, and there are some good folks there. Hopefully we'll at least cross paths with some old friends on the battlefield. Good luck to you all, whatever life brings next.

Maybe I'll move to Landy too. Brandy was pretty bad before osgiliath and it 16.2 didn't change it much. I doubt anything is going to be able to beat ridder from back in the day, the action and the people, but I'll still be playing on some server or another for a while.

I witnessed and took part in a lot of nice and awesome moments on Riddermark. Thanks to everyone who kept making it a wonderful experience. So sad to see the server go after I first created my reaver 4 years, 10 months, 18 days ago or 153.964.800 seconds.

I decided to check out how life is going on the forums after a few months of absence in the game.
Not sure whether I will be coming back or not. Anyway, have fun, guys, and thanks for the memories!
Also, if any of you play Hearthstone, my handle on the EU server is @Otdanon. Will be glad to see you there.

I'll likely be on Landroval as well. It's been a blast hanging with all you maggots, and no matter how good (or bad) Landy is it can never match up to how good (or bad... :P) Riddermark was.

Hopefully I'll cross paths with a few of you sometime down the road.

P.S. I never got my hair fixed. Like...ever.

If there is one person who I can really say had the largest impact on my pvp experience, on Ridder, it would be Rumors. So where that dude is, hats off. Oh yea, and Silvers. Thanks for all the times you just randomly happened to show up and save my...thorax in the midst of an Adino zerg. Lots of other people I'm sure had a hand in making it great times. I suppose where would I be today if it wasn't for Vim.

Hey Revmag! I've actually been back on BW for the last year or more, quit playing about 5 months back. I'm a bit bummed that I can't move my captain over to BW with my other toons but other than that I'm not really playing anymore.

Lots of great enemies to remember and a few great allies Healacreep where ever you are there will never be a greater tribemate or wl like you. It was never perfect but it was as good as itgets......Farewell.

I started on this server the day it opened and had ALOT of great PvMP friends and memories. It is sad that when I decide to return, the server is closing. I will be on Arkenstone sporting my Of Riddermark title. Thanks for all the fun and memories over the years. - Autumnrose
