Imladris PvP video 8-20-15

As much as I Fraps my Moors activities, I've never posted a video for others to see, at least not publicly. So, finally here I am giving you guys a taste of what it means to be the noob known as Daenyras while on her even noobier hunter, Ligeias. Really though, I believe this might be the last group action I might ever see on Imladris, especially considering Thecookiemonster, whom I met right here on our little server, is coming to marry me soon, and we will only have one computer here to share between the two of us. (This is a problem for me, because I can't be motivated to play much in groups in the Moors unless I get to play with him.)

Anyway, it makes me very sad that this game has become what it is, for the good quality action to have pretty much died out and become something of history, not just because of population levels of the servers being so low but also because of the overall change of the mentality of PvPers and players as a whole. The game is just not the same--What happened to standing and fighting and giving it your all and coming back for moremoremore and never giving up? What happened to hours-long fights? We need more leaders who lead like that, like the ones we had on our server, freep and creep alike, not ones who choose to start groups just for pinning the enemy in a corner and forcing them to push back and forth, basically farming each other for points in ranks that end up meaning nothing because of how they were gained, like what I see on one big server in particular.

It makes me saddest for this consolidation to occur, which is the death of my once thriving and beloved server, Imladris and all that we shared here together. We had such a nice community no matter what little bits of drama we might have experienced over the years. I hope despite all worry that wherever we go we find at least similar fun and action as we had here. I give you guys this meager video as a tribute to all the PvPers on our server, and yes, I do mean ALL of you--friends, trolls, enemies, and total unknowns. I hope to see most of you on other servers, but even so, I will shed a tear the day Imladris closes. I loved playing with all of you here, I learned a lot from a great few of you, I made more memories than I ever thought I would make playing a silly game, and I'm so glad the day I decided to see what PvMP was all about and the roller coaster ride it sent me down that led me to this. Farewell, Imladris. </3
