I also want to say that I really liked Yolli's female Legionnaire outfit a few posts back!

As I cannot partake in the Palooza on Landroval (the server Nimrodel will only be opened for transfers in late October), I'll post my take on the theme here.
A Corsair is sitting near the waters of a river whose name he doesn't know. He had tried to scout the lands upstream of Pelargir, but his boat got thrown against a jagged rock just an inch beneath the pale green froth, and splintered beyond repair. He could barely make it through the icy waters to the bank and staggered along for days, trying to find a path through the thickets that hid the sun and the stars from him. Obviously he went in the wrong direction, and now he has no idea where he is at all.
Every now and then he hears a whisper in the water: 'Nimrodel'
His mates should already have noticed that he is late, and started an expedition to bring him back to his people; yet each morning when he is looking over the waters, there is nothing but the rushing sound of the falls, and the calls of the birds in the forest.
Will he ever find his way back into the realms of mankind?

My most favorite is a battle outfit that I made a while ago. I like to think it makes Kirti look intimidating.
Head: Wooden Cave Claw Mask, ranger green (treasure hunt reward)
Shoulders: Shoulders of the First Letters, ranger green (Moria runekeeper armour barterer)
Chest: Jacket of the Hall-warden, ranger green (Moria warden armour barterer)
Hands: Gauntlets of the Hall-warden, ranger green (Moria warden armour barterer)
Legs: Leggings of the Hall-warden, ranger green (Moria warden armour barterer)
Feet: Dwarf Steel Shoes, umber (heavy armour vendor in Thorin's Hall)
Back: Elk-hunter's Pack, undyed (Store cosmetic)
Weapon: Esquire's Halberd of Adlan (Skirmish weapons vendor)
And then there is her 'she cleans up nicely' outfit:
Head: Ceremonial Circlet of the Graven Word, undyed (Cosmetic skirmish vendor)
Shoulders: Elegant Silk Mantle, olive (quest [75] Executioner of Isengard reward)
Chest: Jacket of Celebrant, navy (Random mob drop)
Hands: Elven Cloth Gloves, olive (Random mob drop)
Legs: Starkmoor Caretaker's Leggings, olive (quest [69] Homestead Defence reward)
Feet: Dwarf Steel Shoes, umber (heavy armour vendor in Thorin's Hall)
Back: Esquire's Cape of Naillan, navy (Skirmish jewelry and cloak vendor)
Weapon: Esquire's Halberd of Adlan (Skirmish weapons vendor)
top
head: Erebor burglar hood (Helm of the Erebor Gambler/Mischief maker/knife)
shoulders and chest: Erebor loremaster set (Ancient Erebor Helm/Fury/Animal caller and Ancient Erebor Jacket/Fury/Animal caller)
hands: Secret of the West gloves (Ost dunhoth burglar set, I think Lalia has them too)
can't see the boots well...
bottom
head: Gleaming Westernesse Helm (I know it as a world drop, if someone knows a helm with same looks that is a reward for something please let know)
chest: Enduring Wildermore Armour of Combat, tier 8 crafted, wildermore recipe
hands: Gloves of the Hytbold Leader (same looks as most of the others heavy gauntlets that you find in East Rohan)
feet: War Boots of Eomer, crafted heavy lvl 85 (iirc the recipe you get with reputation with the sutcrofts. And in the metalsmith guild. you can also get them at Lalia)
back: Isengard preorder cloak
can't remember the shoulders, sorry
The Gleaming Westernesse helmet was a drop from the Misty Mountains. I found a second one on another toon; and this time I was farming the trolls (for the BoD) in that backyard in the extreme south west of the map, vis-a-vis the Giant Halls.

For the foreseeable future, I've returned to cosmetic blogging. I'll be taking a much more laid back approach, posting a new creation whenever inspiration strikes versus churning something out weekly.
This particular outfit is called "Drake-bane." For details on the dyes and gear used, follow this link: http://materialmiddleearth.blogspot....rake-bane.html

Eternal damnation unto you! Cursed be your firstborn! Just as I subscribed for 60 days to FFXIV, you show me these! How I loathe the armour and weapon design from FFXIV. But I was willing to give it a chance still, perhaps it'd grow on me. Now I don't feel like giving it any chance at all anymore!

This is how you do it:
- First be sure to (at least temporary) set all graphics the highest you can without crashing the game.
- *Choose a well illuminated place & don't cut the feet.*
- Use the Snipping Tool to take a picture of your toon wearing the outfit you wish to show us.
- Upload the the saved picture into your page of a website like photoshop.
- Copy the Direct link of the picture URL into your post.
Then we can see how pretty you made your guard!![]()

This outfit, Dorthonion Scout, is named after the forested highlands north of Beleriand that existed in the First Age. Also, this gives me a chance to show my Beorning's first outfit.
For full details on the dyes and pieces used, follow this link http://materialmiddleearth.blogspot....ion-scout.html
Anyone happen to know what she is wearing? I have always loved this character growing up and would love to have my alt wear this for halloween.

thanks
Nothing really fancy to adquire:
- Level 7 crafted cloak
- Winged circlet (i think is either adquired at skirmish camp or store)
- Dwarven sleveless shirt (adquired at gray vendors)
- Elven pants can be crafted (many pieces use that pattern or similar from tier 2 to tier 5) or buy at gray vendors
- If i don't recall wrong those are galadrim crafted heavy gloves & boots (many similar pieces on tier 6 crafted sets, & Moria & Lothlorien instances & raids sets)
