My Search for a new server after 4+ years of Being away from nimrodel

So i checked out a few servers int he last 3-4 weeks.

BW is a no go, unless you are 10+ in rank, and during the day speaking Russian is a prerequisite.

Crickhollow seems to have quite a bit of drama with a few players as all servers do... but it was rather disturbing and actually was spilling into Facebook with accusations of ethinic and religeous slurs.

Now on to... Arkenstone... I was told by my former Kin and Tribe Mates to check it out as it happens they are planning on moving their freeps over... Without a doubt the server has been fantastic, lots of action only 2-3 trolls... which get shutdown quickly by the community of creeps. The Morgul Blades which i am now enthusiastically a member of are a great group of men and women with a really great attitude. Very infectious personalities and a lot to offer a long time fan of the LotRO Nimrodel community. It really does feel like Nim in SoA.

So, what makes it so great... call out a froup ghank in OOC? usually 2 or more creeps come to help, and a skirmish ensues. Need help PvEing for maps or comms? Small groups are really fun and knowledgeable in game. Ive been gone for 4 plus years so i rolled a spider about 13 days ago... shes now Rank 7 should be rank 8 in a few more days and has 22 Audacity (took my BA 2 years to get to Rank 6). All from the creeps helping each other, she also has all of her maps (except good isen, that's a grind).... People swap builds and talk shop... really fun.... Then at around 2000 EST small skirmishes of groups start to pop around roving the moors looking for bodies. Eventually around 2100-2300, the Infamy and Reknown flows like a swollen river unleashing its torrent. Some very capable and entertaining RAIDs are set up by a few key players on both sides, ive run a few just getting back into the swing of things, and listening to the guys that either never left of carried the torch while i was away. And i have learned so much... Thanks to the New home for my creeps. I'm currently trying to convince the other folks i ran with on nimrodel and BW to transfer here as i believe this community will have a lot to offer over the next few months.

I started on nimrodel too, around 7-8 years ago. Having ended up with my creeps on Arkenstone I can say it's definitely a breath of fresh air.
There may come a time for valor without renown, for those without swords may surely still die upon them.

What I notice (past 3 wks) on Ark is that it's Freep heaven. The creeps are farmed over and over again. Most the time it's hard to find a ranked group to run with. No raid leaders on creepside and if there is an occasional Raid you have mostly R3 to R8 creeps. Freepside has a lot of high ranks and several from BW
    Brandywine:

    R11 Mini, R7 Hunter
    R10 Def, R9 WL, R8 Rev, R7 BA, R8 warg

Crick Hollow is still alive and well!

We've been seeing good nightly action for the past several weeks. Here is a short video from Christmas Day on Crick.

Too bad about the multi-boxer. I guess there always has to be one jack@ss.
