you know, no other game disconnects me, so?
some forum threads says need port forwarding for router, but router does not belong to me, and I cant ask internet provider to forward some ports forme. And anyway, why the hell I need some "improvements" to router?? Turbine with such support and programming
The problem is on YOUR end, and you're blaming Turbine for it???
Call your ISP and explain what the problem is and see if they can do something.
This isn't Turbine's fault.
with my ISP is all OK, you don't even read what i saying. Its STUPID programming logic. NO OTHER GAME IS CRASHING.
And why the hell we cant login back to the server after disconnects? Turbine again not guilty?
I've never had to change any router settings for LOTR. That's over years of playing on several computer and several router models. And I've not had disconnects, except when my ISP connection went down, which is painfully obvious because all internet connections and activity stops.

I did read what you're saying.
If the issue you describe was hitting everybody, then we'd see a TON of posts complaining about it.
As it is, there are very few people having that issue, so it's most likely NOT Turbine's fault.
Could be your ISP. Could be your computer. Could be your router. Could be some software on your computer messing with something.
This is NOT a problem on Turbine's end.

It could be your routing too. Get a ping plotter and let it run for 30 minutes to see if the problem between you isp and the target server.
A solution if that would be to run a VPN to avoid that specific routing.
In my case my standard routing to the lotro server is totaly fine but when playing GW2 i have to use always a VPN because the designated carrier (Telia...)
is causing me package loss.
So yes this problem can occur while playing a specific game. Stop ranting and ask for help. You can also open a ticket to support and add your pingplotter log.
STOP random disconnects of the game, totaly impossible to play, or half of ppl says good-bye to LOTRO...
I started playing the game in 2007. As each expansion became active my ability to play slowly decreased, until I could no longer get the game to load at log in.
I kept thinking it was Turbine's coding, because the problems got worse immediately after each expansion. I also did not have any trouble with the other mmo games, which further convinced me that it must be Turbine.
However, as it turned out, the problem was my PC. I didn't have enough RAM. After buying a new computer, which could accommodate more RAM, the crashes stopped, the lag stopped, and finally I could enjoy the game again. I downloaded an application that monitored temp and usage etc. It was then very evident that lotro uses a lot of RAM (a lot more than I had on my previous computer).
While far more than needed for the game, I now have 16GB of RAM. So I don't expect any more problems anytime soon.
with my ping is all ok, ISP provider is best in country, router good to, with D2 in example i havent got any lag or memory leaks, or disconnects. 8Gb is more than enough for Lotro play. Even Backdessert i can play comfortable. So dont piss me off with NOT Turbine guiltys.. In short, uninstalled LOTRO after 7 years of play... THANK YOU turbine

When there are no memory leaks or buffer overruns in a code, no need for more RAM.
On my poor 11y old PC with 4 GB RAM, any application or game without big bugs runs without problem.
