EVENT: Imladris Is Angry!

Greetings people of Imladris! Since we have found out our beloved server will be soon fading into the West we have had several gatherings. In August there was a chaotic group photo in Elrond's front yard. (I am sure he is still stewing about that.) Alfadan put together a memorial video. There has also been farewell concerts hosted by our local bands that brought the house down! (Again, sorry Elrond!) However, there are still a few of us that are angry...

That we have yet to have one final Angry Mob Raid before we are kicked out! Saturday, November 7th @ 10pm EDT, 7pm PDT we will be gathering at Bree's West Gate.

As of right now the plan is to take out the orc encampent in the Northern Bree-fields so lower level players can join in the fun. Depending on the turnout, we might move on to other locations. Part of the fun of the A.M.R. is dressing up like peasants , farmers, and etc... and using hand-held implements such as pitchforks and shovels to attack mobs. This isn't required but it helps to get into the spirit of the event. I know some of you don't have these items so I will help provide outfits and hand-held implements to anyone who does not have their own.


Also, if any band(s) are available to perform while we wait on everyone to get geared up that would be excellent!

I want to remind you all that it isn't required to get spruced up in costumes. For anyone wanting to dress the part here are some items that can be used to get into character. These are things that can be found at vendors but the Auction House might have items from festivals and/or crafted equipment for those that have wardrobes.

Mathom House:
Butter Knife, Heavy Cast Frying Iron Pan, Pitchfork, and Shovel = 1 silver 60 copper each!

Bert Bartleby the Bingo Boffin Barterer:
Bane of Warm Butter = 10 Bingo Badges (Shire location)
Bingo's Trusty Tankard = 5 Bingo Badges (Bree location)

As Bronwen said, everything is optional, so here is my suggestion for the higher levels to increase enjoyment: Unequip your shiny weapons and either equip a butter knife, pitchfork etc. or just stay barehanded!

HUZZAH! The Angry Mob Raid was so much fun I want to do one every week...or month realistically. Thank you to Ignorami and everyone else who got the ball rolling and I want to apologize for acting like a brat at the start when I had the nerve to show up late and you all headed to the Shire. Which I will confess did look like it was more fun than the North Downs after rewatching the Twitch.
