    Creep Player Ideas

    I have been playing in monster play for about a month now and I have came up with a few decent ideas for new monster classes.

    1. A playable (purchase required) drake class. As a drake there would be the option to change to frost or fire drake.
    2. A new Moor extension to the left of "Steps of Gram". This extension would host a new outpost that looks like something from First Age Gondor. (Delving would be extended as well and would contain a new boss similar to the Nazgul)
    3. A playable class similar to the Black Riders (What Amdir turned to in the prologue). This class would be purchasable as well.
    4. Allow GV raids. Creeps would now be able to enter GV and take captives. Freeps would also be able to enter Gramsfoot. With Creeps capturing freep NPCs at GV, a capture the flag (NPC) mode could be established. There would be specific infamy/comm boosts for every npc captured. The goal would be for the Freeps to enter Grams and save the captured npcs, escorting them back to GV. To prevent farming there would be a time limit in between captures AKA a cooldown. (Creeps cant enter GV until 30 minutes after their last capture).

    I think this would be a great addition to both Creep and Freep Play.

    you sure have been playing Monster Play for about a month now, and not a bit more.

    Unfortunately it appears to be pretty much no chance of any new Monster Play class, let alone what you suggest. But what you suggest sounds quite interesting none-the-less. Amdir turned into a Cargul (Cargul means "Red Wraith") this is a fine idea for a class if it happens or not.

    We used to have a form of Capture The Flag. There was a flag at Grothum for Freeps to capture and for Creeps the flag was in Hoar Hollow. They had to be taken to Tol Ascarnon to receive a 5% damage buff there. (Or did the flag from Groth have to be taken to TR? It was a while ago). We used to have more NPC's about the Tol Ascarnon area. If you had more of the other keeps captured, preferably all, the NPC's used more skills and you got even a further buff in the TA area. Turbine cut this out of the game. They changed a few things that some of us found interesting to do and added other stuff that some of us think are a bit dumb. Now all's we have left are the relics. However I doubt we will ever see anything like the GV/Grams NPC capture thing that you mention. Again it sounds like a fun addition.

    Now that I know about the things that you mentioned I have a different perspective on how creep play functions. I do think that if LOTRO devs decided to bring the Capture the flag back it would be an interesting turn-about, however like you mentioned not everyone would be in agreement with it. Coming from the now closed Windfola I was used to freeps getting all the buffs including the relics and the Peace In Middle-Earth because the creep community was small. I guess it all depends on your perspective and how you want to play. Also, why do you say that a new monster class will not happen? They add new freep classes even up to now (Beorning of Course) So why wouldn't they attempt/consider a new creep? Thanks for your input btw.

    More money from freep side so it gets more development like new classes. Fear not though by the time this game drops the ring into the mountain creep side will get a new class.

    I expect a new Creep class will happen just before a player housing revamp, i.e. just before never. I'd love to play a Gaunt Lord, myself. but it's a pipe-dream.

    Its fun to see people still have hope up for creeps .
    but there is no budget or manpower at turbine to make all ur dreams possible.
    only simple changes will be done.
    it took 8 years for us to get a mailbox

    Creep Love Fund

    Dear Turbine,

    1. What is the approximate cost to create and implement a new class?

    2. Is there a way to donate (in game) directly to a fund specifically for a new class?

    3. Assuming the answer to #2 is NO, Can a simple system be implemented?

    4. What monetary incentive would be required for Turbine management to negotiate the implementation of a new class?

    I have had an idea on another character for monster play, How about ring wraiths? They should come with their horse of course or have the evil horses different character from a ring wraith. Also maybe have it where if you are an evil horse let someone ride if they allow. Or maybe include that with warg players where they can have the option of allowing an orc or something ride them? These are just some other ideas, but I also like the drake idea.

    Part of me thinks, "Awww it's nice seeing people offer ideas for improvements in the Moors."

    Another part of me thinks, "Awww it's sad seeing people offer ideas for improvements in the Moors."

    Considering we got a new zone a year or 2 ago (memory is fuzzy), and mailboxes as someone else mentioned, that's probably the end of the line for Moors improvements. Besides, we got a new class what... 7 years ago? How much more can you expect?

    I've gifted the community with many, many great ideas for PvP so Im going to give you another one here. The reality is Turbine has less resources than before, at least thats the generally accepted reality. So we have to look at whats the greatest likelyhood of a new class.

    Its going to be troll. The class already exsists, it has specific skills already assigned to it. Some of the work is done, a back end trait system (use WL for now) and a few more skills and should be good to go.

    And before people come clamoring in telling me they cant, its session play blah, blah they told us they couldnt do creep mail or a new map either so no sale.

    Well since they have added 3 new freep classes since the last creep class was added about 8 1/2 years ago it doesn't seem to likely that they would add a new creep class with lower amount of resources they game has for a system that the majority of people will never actually see .

    Since freeps have a chance to get better armor, jewelry and more stats in general, why not add extra a new class? Maybe a drake class with skills new to the game or just different? I don't see what could go wrong with that. If anyone sees any flaws that might occur please tell I would be glad to hear.

    Why not actually just fix the billion issues the game currently has? Even just one of these being resolved would improve things for a huge number of players. New classes take a long, long time.. Time that could be spent fixing the lag.
