Formed over 2 years ago when new kins were the fashion on Snowbourne. Marukhati Selectives grew to become one of the most active kins on that server. We are Mature, friendly, helpful kin focused primarily on T2 PVE content.
We accept only those that can use Teamspeak 3 and understand spoken English, we also expect people to work hard on their toons if they wish to get the most out of the kin and join us for instances. The minimum level for joining is level 60 on your main. We do not expect people to know everything and be pr0, just an open mind willing to learn in a friendly environment.
We do not tolerate bad behaviour, cheating and exploiting and as such this kin is not suited to many who accept it as normal. Nor is it a good kin for those that want the best but are not prepared to work for it.
Our greatest asset is our small dedicated officer team who are highly experienced helpful players. We also have our own user channel to keep in touch with friends or even alts outside of kin, which helps us fill runs and provides alternative options for grouping up with peeps or even just chatting!
If interested best to contact myself or an Officer in game for more information/invite.
Main toons:
Icenie (Grd)
Scyla (Hnt)
Mercadier (Cpt)
Shellby (Min)
Vilnius (Chp)
Aka Riv after my old main (Rivalyn, Wrd) / Feizor from Nimrodel / Icenie on Crickhollow.
Recent achievements (2015/2016) include all ODT2c, BGT2c, All ToO t2c's in one run, BfET2Challenge, DoSt2c with 6 cappies, Smaug T2c!
We currently run almost nightly DoST2c runs with other more casual things for fun such as BB’s, Skraids and old instances such as ToO/Draigoch or whatever.
Have fun!
Riv

My name is Mystelion (formerly known as Mysterandir) and i am 1 of the officers from Marukhati Selectives.
If you are looking for an active and social kinship which is focused on completing end game content but also likes just having fun with for example buying up a whole housing neighbourhood for the kinship then we will be a good match for you!
We have players from all over europe and amerika playing together and enjoying Middle Earth. Escpecially on Teamspeak where every night its a coming and going of kinnies and always a good atmosphere. Its the perfect way to relax after a long day at work or school.
Any advice on any class or trait build or whatever can be given by our officer team. Just ask and you will see what a active and social kin means.
If you are considering to join but still have questions please dont hesitate to ask. Below you will see my character names, if im online just send me a /tell and we will have a chat
With the merging of the servers the old glory days are back and the game is more alive then ever! So this is the moment to join an active kin and do the instances and raids you always wanted to do.
I joined the Selectives approximately six months ago. I was looking for a kin that would be genuinely active and where I could grow and learn form other seasoned players. I have not been disappointed as the kin leader generally logs on at the same time every day and is very inclusive. We have run many t2c instances and raids and normally succeed albeit with the odd wipe! In terms of growing as a playing; I have learnt more in the past six months than ever before. This has helped me tweak my characters to get the best out of them. In order to improve one has to accept criticism to some extent. I think being open to a degree of criticism and being prepared to spend time on improvements is almost a prerequisite of a good kin, there is no point in going backwards after all.
Players are also not continually bombarded with requests from other players to either craft items or give items away. This does not mean you can't get assistance but it's much better to be told how to achieve something rather than it being given on a plate. Kin chat is low key with some players opting to say "hi" to everyone with others being quieter. Therefore there are no expectations of people to use the chat facility. Instead players are encouraged to use Team Speak to engage with others whilst grouping. This kin is not for the absolute beginners but more aimed at players who have some experience of the game and wish to take it to the next level. Instead of running endless Sammy's or OE's the focus is more on unlocking content via deeds. Suggestions for group work are always welcome and, for example, I would like to do some L75 content as I largely missed these at level cap due to a level cap increase.
Perhaps a criticism might be the lack of officers but some thought is being given to increasing this. However as most players are able there is little need for officers to hold the hands of newbies! Many kin members whilst not officers are very experienced and are happy to help where they can. The small set of officers (approximately five) are very knowledgeable on issues such as equipment, legacies, essence builds and class skill rotations. Overall the mix of experienced players and abilities works well.
To sum up then if you're bored of Sammy runs and want to continue to improve as a player; this should be your new home!
I am proud to call Marukhati Selectives my Lotro home. It's a kinship where one can feel welcome. I think what makes this kinship great is the atmophere and the competence of players. You can always have a friendly chat or a laugh in TS, while also doing the newest challenge that the game has to offer.
This kinship is perfect choice if you are looking for something more serious than casual, but not as hardcore as raiding kin. However we expect that kin members would put effort into improving their characters and be willing to learn new things, and have at least one character ready for t2 content. What you can expect in return is regular instance runs in the evenings, and guidance on how to improve your class. There is no pressure to be perfect, but we do expect a certain focus from players.
Currently we are eagerly awaiting the new instance/raid cluster announced in producer's later. So, if you think, that your gameplay style is similar to ours, don't hesitate to contact any of officers ingame or here, and become a part of our growing family =)
I am known as Chift. I have been on Snowbourn server since i started playing LOTRO (August 2010) and until the end of that server, when i joined Evernight.
Marukhati Selectives has been the best place for me for years now. I love it because of its funny and dedicated members, who would help you anytime with anything. I also like it a lot because it also focuses on end game content (not as much as a true raiding kin, but still enough to satisfy my apetite). We do raids and instances several times a week and all of us have a damned good time!
I am also an officer in Maurkhati. My characters are Chiftzapzap, Chifteluta, Chiftlm, Chiftleader, Chiftburger and Chiftmormor. Feel free to contact me ingame, when you want!
