We did Vadokhar and Unbroken a couple weeks ago but I opted to not post until we got Mumaks T2C. 4 weeks of Ku-nerpag killing someone at 30%... feelsbadman.

Also how did you guys manage to get the GM's to clear a T2C boss for you? I've submitted tickets many times for bugs (just had one today for Vadokhar trash -- we cleared the gauntlet but it somehow still reset) and was told to kick rocks...

I think Turbine has already decided to not take any further actions - perhaps because the GM was, at least partially, to blame for what happened on Gwaihir. An action that should be taken against Eru Echor is the removal of their name from the T2C Gothmog list until they can show prove of a kill without the help of a GM.

I'm looking forward to a member of Eru Echor actually clarifying this situation, but it seems like they plan to hush it up.

I have the same opinion. Eru Echor should be removed from the full clear list, until they can prove that they can kill the Boss without any GM help.
I also hope that they will lose the title of the orginal challenger. This is a title which should be "unique" on a server and only be carried by the real challenger.

There is no need to be hostile towards Eru Echor kinship. If they really "scammed" a GM, I'm sure Turbine would have acted accordingly.

It's much more likely they simple had very bad luck because of an annoying bug which was not necessarily their fault. Asking a GM for help if something like this happens is perfectly fine. Also, I don't think the GM simply handed them the deed and chest without checking if they really "could have beaten" challenge mode first.

I'm pretty sure they will post a screenshot this week how they can beat Gothmog T2C without help from a GM.

It is quite funny how you consider all your critics to be "haters". I do not know you nor a single other person on your raiding group personally, so it's kind of strange that you would insinuate that I'd have feelings as strong as hate for you and your team mates. The reason why I am so critical with the entire Eru Echor situation is that you and your ilk intentionally concealed the fact that you required the help of a GM for your first Gothmog kill. Had you immediately stated that things were messy during your first clear, I don't think you would be getting quite the backlash you are getting right now. Instead you decided to pretend to be humble victors, stating that both "Avorthalier" and "Hecki Hecki Pateng" would also deserve the title. This statement is kind of ironic in hindsight. Again, had you been more open about what really happened, it would've damaged the reputation of Eru Echor far less. Then again, I do wonder whether you care about your group's reputation that much, judging from the way you try to pull an ad hominem to silence your critics.

On a different note, I'm asking myself how people figured out that a GM was involved in Eru Echor's first clear at all. The chest placement on their screen isn't that far off from the correct spot, so I assume it would be quite hard to spot if you aren't already looking for something odd about the screenshot.

In this thread, there were some posts with obvious hate, they are removed currently. This "haters" goes on these people, not on you.

Assistance of GM doesn't automatically mean that last boss wouldn't be defeated. It only means, there was some issue which had to be solved.

Let's wait for the official statement from Eru Echor.
