    Last Update Removed my Transfer Tokens

    The transfer tokens that I had were removed from my account with today's update. Same for my wife's account.
    Is that working as intended?
    Did Turbine just took something that was granted as compensation for closing servers?

    I lost my tokens too !!! Where are my transfer tokens?
    Anybody else can confirm if they lost their tokens too?

    Looks like they must have, since the new system doesn't use transfer tokens, but instead charges your TP balance directly. Anyone that has had this happen should contact Customer Service and see what can be done from their end.

    Yes, I've also noticed that my last token is missing. I've also noticed that my TPs are now listed. My guess is that it now cost TP to transfer.

    i missed the tokens ,too--
    i wait 3 month to buy new tokens ,that i can transfer all my chars,and now i have nothing

    Looks like they lost the free tokens for anyone who had them left. I'm sure turbine will find a fix for it soon, they can also credit people the tp value of the tokens they are missing.

    Yeah like that would ever happen.

    I too lost my 3 free tokens. I wasn't really planning on using them, but since I have 2 level 100+ LM's on one server, I was actually considering moving one over since I had the tokens..... but if they took em away that one will stay put. I'll have to submit a ticket I guess to see if I can get my tokens back.

    Yep, not free tokens for me too. It's a really bad descision if Turbine has taken them away without any notification!

    Yes, my tokens are gone as well. This update was sprung on us on pretty short notice, although it is obviously something they must have been working on (not an urgent bug / exploit patch). If removing the tokens was intentional, it's not very good customer service to do so without at least a "use 'em or lose 'em" warning ahead of time.

    Lost my 2 tokens as well... tried to send a ticket, all I got is generic answer and auto closed ticket... but text contains the following note:

    "The free tokens granted to all accounts, and tokens already on an account can still be redeemed for character transfers."

    Process notes/Q&A don't mention anything about losing existing transfer tokens... I know more than few ppls waiting for transfer to open
    so they can buy additional tokens to transfer all their toons/storage at once...

    Mine are gone as well. I saved all of them on multiple accounts until I could get more organized with so many chars. I don't mind waiting for them but I need them back, no way can I afford to buy for all the accounts. Plus people shouldn't be penalized for not using them right away - there was no notice that they needed to be used before the paid ones came in. Hoping they fix this soon.

    I wouldn't be panicking yet. My guess is it's just a blunder on Turbine's part, which will be fixed soon.

    Ugh, it looks like I need to check mine, though I really don't have a need to use them right now. I'll be putting in a ticket it seems, for this does seem to be a major system change. If those free tokens were terminated with the change, not having notice is very bad.

    I am guessing this. But it would be quite a blunder, as they should have been VERY MUCH AWARE that many people still had their three tokens....


    Just for the record, this is what Vyvyanne wrote about the tokens back in the day:

    This morning we added 3 Character transfer tokens to every account and enabled the ability to use these to go between any of the ten remaining worlds. Transfers are 1 token per character so you can use these to move your main characters while you wait for a free window for your world or hold on to them for a later time in case you decide to try out a different world.

    This also means that the Account/ shared storage transfer is now available between all worlds and is free (no token needed).

    Currently the 3 tokens we have granted or any that you may have purchased prior are the only ones available. We will offer a way to purchase more in the new year.

    We hope this helps those of you who may have made a mistake in your transfer choice or simply want a change of pace without waiting for free transfer windows.

    It doesn't say that the tokens will be removed eventually.... but it does say that you can "hold on to them for a later time", and that is what I did. It also says you can "purchase MORE", which indicates the free tokens would remain, but you can purchase additional transfers. Currently it seems that the free tokens were removed and replaced by paid-only. I was hoping to free up some spaces on my main server by transferring some toons to other servers at some time, I was just not in a hurry to do any of that.... I certainly wasn't planning to pay for that, so I would indeed like my 3 free tokens back, please

    Hey Marteena! Let me use some of the things you bashed us with when we were begging turbine to post this system.

    #1. I can imagine the analogy where the public was offered FREE UNLIMITED MILK for all closing servers for ETERNITY, on top of that FREE UNLIMITED MILK for a whole week in January, and then again FREE UNLIMITED MILK for a whole MONTH between February and June.... and then not bothering to take advantage of it. So on top of all that they give you another 3 cartons of milk. And you didn't spend them.
    #2. It's not turbines fault you used you three tokens and now you are here lying that you lost them, as they most likely cannot track them.
    #3. You should've done some good planing by now and know where you wanna move so you can move 3 of your toons.
    #4. Even if the other 12 toons remain on a bad server, does that make the 3 you moved unplayable?
    #5. Turbine gave you a week of free transfers and then a MONTH of free transfers, you should've used them instead of begging for freebies
    #6. A percentage of adding transfer tokens can't be done by the tooling requiring them to pay employees to manually to add the tokens. There is a cost in dollars to allow them giving you freebies to move off of a server. (Partly quoted)

    I can keep going. But now you know how it feels when you piss on someones misery THANK YOU TURBINE FOR LETTING US PURCHASE TRANSFERS WE LOVE YOU <3

    P.s. The written statement above is ONLY for Marteena, who made it her/his purpose to make us who suffered on our current servers, suffer even more. Everyone who has lost their transfer tokens should be given them back.
