Dont be upset if you try to interact with her, but dont get anywhere, as it is usually my 3 y/o at the controls.
You can often find her in Bree or Coombe, trying to jump her new horse on to the top of things like houses, walls, hedges and wells.
Someone tried to get her to join a quest yesterday, and got a bit grumpy when she ignored him/her.
I am usually around to keep an eye on her, but she HAS just figured out what the password for the account is, and logged herself in before I was ready to log in myself.

The character is over-levelled for Bree, I let her explore the world as there are no decent open world games for children with this level of detail. As the alt is over levelled, there is no fighting, so no gore, blood-letting etc.
I usually let her roam around the Archet area, but Coombe/Bree is her new favourite, since I got her a horse.
As I said, I escort her, but sometimes she gets online a few minutes before I can port my lvl93 alt to her; and I dont think 15-30 minutes in world per day is a big issue.
When she gets bored with Bree, I am going to move her alt to Rivendale.
Good parenting? yes it is, she is learning computer, mouse and keyboard skills, hand/eye co-ordination and indulging in imaginative play at levels well above her age; she is already over 1/3rd of the way through KS1, despite the fact she wont be going to school for another 12-18 months.

You really don't need to explain/defend yourself. All kids are different.
Nobody knows what's best for yours more than you do.

I was working on the assumption that the poster doesnt have children of their own, or that they assume I let her roam freely - killing everything in her path.
I know a number of parents let their young children play in "safe" areas; I was just giving a "heads up" as I noticed a few attempts to interact with her that, obviously, she ignored. They also tried to get me to join kinships/quests as well, but I was so busy just trying to keep up with her, I had no time to explain why we were saying "no".
I have been trying to tempt mummy into opening an account; then we can tag-team her, the same as we do when she goes skiing -one at the top of the run, and one at the bottom of the run on the big nursery slope, or one in front and one behind on the "adult" runs.

I more meant you don't need to defend against the "bad parenting" comments. I do the same with my 5 year old
