Hi all, I'm rather new to mini healing in general, but i've gotten bored of blue line healing already. So I decided to go Yellow blue.
Does anyone have any tips and tricks? Some trait tree examples/legs/virtues would be beneficial. Basically i've invested in anthem duration, cooldown and inspire fellows in yellow and everything else in blue.
In blue i've invested my usual blue build except instead of traiting 4 points in "follow up" for the -20% skill inductions upon crit heals, I've invested all 10 points toward "inspiring cries and calls" for the 30% reset.
Equips wise, all blue line equips are retained for yellow line as well, except i'm wearing the daily instance set for the inspire fellows stack.
Rotations wise, I try to time it so I get all 6 anthem of wars up and ready for the 1st min of fight (a little longer if lucky procs) and then build up 3 anthems of 3rd age as quickly as possible. With -75% induction time from the anthems + -20% from blue line's quick melody making everything almost instant cast, I pretty much spam BC. I'll pop inspire fellows, anthems of wars, and 3rd age anthems as necessitated by cool down.
Issues I'm having are:
1. Obviously aoe heal is limited to CoS and IF, and I kinda struggle with inductions at the start when I take time to build up 3 Ao3A. That's the drawback to not investing in Follow Up I suppose, but you only get so many points. It could be remedied by building up all 3 Ao3A before the fight, but I don't do that because I want to maximize the AoWar durations. Any tips? I'm trying not to use Fellowship's heart or TS so early in the fight.
2. Animation cancels. In blue line, I found that soliloquy of spirit was the best animation cancel so I used that exclusively almost with BC. Obviously no SoS in yellow blue, so what animation cancels do you guys use that's the most effective?
3. Occasional heal dip. When the I replenish the anthems of war, I try to time them so there's 2 Ao3A running still. There's a drop in heals obviously resulting from the induction set back, any tips to tackle that? Again, Fellowship's heart isn't something I really want to use at this point but am forced to.
Any other issues yellow healers are facing? Any solutions found?
