How do I purchase from the Market and make sure it's going into my account??

Hi;
I feel like a bit of an idiot, but I've never purchased from the Market before, and I'm wanting to take advantage of the AWESOME deal on Expansions right now, but don't see how I can be sure it will go into my account. My daughter is actually purchasing the expansion as a present for me, and we just don't see anywhere to designate what account the purchase is going to. (She has an account as well and we might like to purchase for both). There didn't seem to be anywhere to log in or specify... Would appreciate some clarity so we can spend our money and explore some more!!! (Been waiting for this sale and really badly want to be able to take advantage of it!) Thanks!

I think you should receive a code via email or maybe upon purchase?

As far as I understand how things work now, you have to go into the game, then open the lotro store, and then redeem the code there.

Glad I could be of service. Since they changed how the store works, their Market instructions haven't been updated.


If you run into any issues, send a ticket to LOTRO folks and they should sort you out.

The codes you get from the LOTRO Market should be redeemed through the LOTRO Store in-game.
