hi all, Galadthorn(off peak) here.
I wasn't on this server for a long time but i do appreciate what a nice person he is. Though i may not like his constant talking on ts3 when i group with him he was a very nice person he would not discriminate any person based on their skill level and invite them to his moors group. He is also very patient and kind towards everyone i knew. Above all he would run a group and that takes courage and leadership. I personally chatted to him once in awhile and he was very happy to introduce me to this server's people and PVMP(i joined his raids on both freep and creep)
^ what others said, behind every character is a real person with real feelings playing this game and i really appreciate syl not judging anyone based on assumptions etc and really brings a good time to himself and people around him. It is extremely sad that a normal healthy person has passed away at such a young age. it must be heartbreaking for his family and friends to lose someone just like that. I feel for them even though i have not even met syl in real life.
Rest in peace
Hello Elendilmir
I am from Dwarrowdelf server, so none of you probably know me. I heard about Sylidor through some of my creep and freep friends who transferred to your server from mine. I just wanted to convey my condolences for your fallen friend/freep. I have watched the videos on the main server forum and I think it is amazing what you all did for him. I obviously didn't know him, but I bet he was amazing guy/player. I wish all the best for Sylidor's kin members/friends/real life family.

Rest in peace, Syldor.
You were an amazing minstrel but an even better person.
It was a pleasure playing with you on Vilya years ago.
Wishing you all the best, my friend.

a big hug in those hard moments.
Rest In Peace
Very sad news. Just stopped by for a quick visit and saw this Always saw him in the moors nearly everyday when I was playing regularly, mostly playing against him but sometimes along side him. What a tragedy, didn't know him too well but he seems like a great guy. So young...it's just not right.
Kudos to the E community for the memorial. If I would have known about this earlier I would have reloaded the game just to atttend.

Orak.
p.s Least you didnt die face first into the keyboard face rollin.
It took long time for me to say something about him.
I just wish that he will be a thousand winds on us.
Thank you Acts, Adam.
And thank you everyone who said nice thingys to me
when I -Lento- was talking in Japanese on TS at the tribute day.
*hugs*
R.I.P. Acts, I love your voice especially.
Sorry to bump old topic, but does anyone know exactly what it was?
An article published by TheHerald, Aus says "It was this condition which ultimately took his life.". But nowhere does it list the specific condition. Everywhere else I see it says he died of heart failure, but no name of the cause.
Not trying to be nosy... I'm just curious.

I noticed in a few of the photo's his sister posted that the young man had a scar on his chest. Indicating, I guess, that he had some sort of heart surgery in the past? So I going to assume that how ever tragic and sudden this was, perhaps it wasn't all together unexpected.
I saw Brutar's name still on my Friends list the other night, made me miss him all over again.

I had the great pleasure of being able to play for quite long periods of time with adam, and he was a splendid guy to be honest. despite all of my buttfrustration he was always hilarious and kept me enjoying the game when I otherwise wouldn't have and outside of one other possible player was the person I played with the most prior to leaving the server for Silverlode. When I heard the news I didn't quite believe it for a very long time until I looked over his facebook page, and noticed that I had spoken to him a few weeks prior to his death where we talked about what we were doing in the time and at school, feb. 19th. nothing new to be said, other than he was good company and a cool guy and it's certainly not the same server to me without having him to play and have a riot with. the world needs more people who don't let the small things bother them. and he was a great example.

Hard to believe that it has been 1 year since we lost Adam. It caught up to me too quick (thanks Irenka for reminding me) and it made everything come screaming back.
The 1 year dance in heaven has begun and he is still missed.
We love you Sylidor.

Lot of people I miss in life these days...some gone for good, others just distant. There's a lot of songs that help me sometimes, everything from the Dropkick Murhpy's singing God Willing to the song I've linked below, which will be a little too bluegrassy or gospel for some- but it makes me feel better and not miss people so much. It also reflects a belief that i'll meet him (and others) in what comes after.

Thanks for bumping this. Good of you.
I thought of doing it myself to make sure the family knows they are not the only ones who remember Adam. I hope and pray the family may be lead here and see that for those of us who are still in this game - YES we do remember Adam! Many have left the game, but I doubt any who have left have forgotten Adam. How could we ever forget him. In fact I would say our game is not the same without him here on our server. To Adam's family - we are certainly remembering him and cherishing his memory and we do so miss him.
Every time I hit the Moors I think of Sylidor.... that guy was one awesome human being.
Yesterday, we had an offline meeting of LotRO players in Tokyo, Japan.
We talked about Sylidor and Ettenmoors at that time.
Thank you for a lot of happy memories, Sylidor. R.I.P.

Hard to believe its now three years. We sure miss you Adam. Know you would make this crazy game better and we would be so much better with you still around.
Know your family misses you so much.
