    Osg/Etter

We may have to eventually organize some Osg fights but in order for some of those to happen there would have to be a few rules both sides are willing to follow minus a few who will never listen. First thing is balance...one of the real problems with pvp in Osg is the bridge banners that give % infamy/renown gains according to who owns them. We would have to try to keep them as close to balanced as possible to make it worth either side being there at all, there will be those few who refuse to leave things be and I as well as others should blacklist them for future fellow/raids as well as watch them die with no assistance whatsoever, I have seen this done for years. Ettermoors, I know ppl need there quests for taking OPs but I suggest we go to the old rules of 2/2 in good fights as much as possible and try to at least keep 1 and 1 on rez. I know this will not always happen and there is always the bad egg that wants attention and to stir things up who should be ignored in may ways....if you really think about it its almost always an emotionally charged thing bc of something in there past that has screwed them up...TRUTH!! Anyways...I have enjoyed some of the back n forths we have had the past few weeks, especially in the AM when I can get enough creepers on to actually fight back. Lets get some feedback from both sides....Thanks for the fun in the moors pst....about the ones who don't listen, don't take it to an extreme, especially with ppl that are new to moors, they may not understand and only understand the pve aspect of taking a flag or keep or op....we will get em there.

    The error of both sides.

While you have mentioned many things about 2/2 ops and fair play. I play both sides and have found both sides very negligent in the application of the accord which was agreed too. The partisan nature of several personality conflicts in the PvP arena spilled into world chat a few times. The problem as I see it is this race for rank and comms... and the new baby Creeps and Freeps are usually disheartened or fed up after being ganked. There is also the issue of the conflict of interest that occurs when the Creep/Freep Spy drama goes on... especially for personal reasons and partisan dialog.

    1. This is a game, to ruin someone else's experience for cyber aggrandizement of ego is very weak at best.
    2. There is an element of hypocrisy on both sides and finger pointing which comically resembles the paradigm of real life politically. Both sides screaming about FairPlay and then inflicting a breach of self proscribed rules is sad and self defeating.
    3. The game, or further drilled down further the PvP isn't a side or tribes eminent domain. To act as such is rather unbalanced.
    4. the biggest issue is to many independents who are doing things their way without the forethought of its widespread impact.

All the points suggested here by Burgin are good for a ideal scenario of fair play in moors. However, they are rarely practiced/seen in gameplay and "cannot" be put to effect at all times by both sides. I have no problem (personally as freep) to see 3R-1B OP or even 4R-0B OP upon entering moors, as there are people on both sides who need to flip OPs for questing. What I have a problem with is - A continuous flipping of OPs to retain all 4 of single color (R/B) at all times. And both sides do it.. Again, if the freeps outnumber creeps in moors, I would not mind seeing all Red OPs unless number balance is restored.

Coming to the more relevant point of balance, and the one which "can" be put to effect. The buffs of the Delvings. I, as a frequent pvp group leader/raider, suggested (to a major creep tribe leader) that we should have a deal on 3 buffs of delvings, which give renown/infamy boost. To this, I agreed that Freeps would keep the +40% buff of Balrog and let the creepside retain +60% buff of Tree + Drake Matron. To my surprise, even this has failed to strike a chord with creepside. Every day I find Balrog buff back to creepside, even after agreeing to a balance. The Balrog buff is not something which can be killed easily by a solo/duo rouge creep who wont listen/agree to fair play rules...Why are we supposed to give-away all the buffs (Keeps/OP/delvings) and then, come out for questing-combat, only to get far lesser renown?. As a counter-response to this, we are now back to the point of taking all buffs back if there can be no sane agreement. I assure again, as long as Freeps retain the Balrog of delving, we won't go for other buffs (cant guarantee all freeps, but certainly of those who are regular visitors to delving, which are not that many).

On a positive side, I am happy to see more and more new players out in moors. And the migration of a spying kin is good news too. 1v1's are back at GTA and it is good to see no ganking going there. Yet, some buggers (literally name buggy/warg) did jump 1v1s last night,on many occasions. And make no mistake, that was not a newly rolled warg. Well, annoying fellows exist everywhere.
