It occurred to me that Song of Aid's effect on Champions (gain an Enemy Defeat Response) doesn't actually DO anything, because Champions don't use defeat responses. How should this be adjusted so that the skill has an effect on everyone?

Ex Gilrain, - World First Watcher V1, - Server First Draigoch, - Server only ToO T2C None Burg stack on level.
Currently Evernight, Prime, - Shelob Wider, - World/Server First or Second for: Abyss, Anvil, Remmo, AD, FoKD, HoA.
Worlds Only Abyss T2 6 Manned - Minstrel.
+Celestrata - 'Surprise, it's not a glitch! :D'
+Celestrata tells you 'You are by far the best mini I've seen out of any server, Congrats on world first!'
Parry response or an instant fervour pip or two seems appropriate.
When classes were changed a few years ago this minstrel skill was made almost useless. For quite awhile the responses it listed didn't even exist in the game anymore, iirc. It's a sad shadow of its former self and I don't really see it as worthwhile these days.
I'd explain it to you, but I'm all out of Puppets and Crayons.

Surely it couldn't be too hard to change some of the effects tho? Could be some sort of power restore and +damage for the duration of the song or something?
Song of aid and call to greatness were always on the level of meh skills with stupid long cooldowns, considering effect. I dont think devs have it on too high on their list due to this and amount of work it takes to update these 2 skills x10 effects per skill. I would rather see call to second age buff range adjusted.
We don't have any active skills that proc on a defeat response, and I highly doubt this procs passives buuut, there is a +5 fervour passive upon a successful kill (KB though, so doubt that works), and the same for a 10% heal.
The Song of Aid skill is absolute gash anyway though..
