The Fushaum Resolution instance advice please

Hi,

I'm stuck trying to do The Fushaum Resolution instance where you have to fight all 3 bosses. I have fairly easily completed it on 8 other classes but keep getting defeated on the Mini (and RK).

Stats: Red-traited level 115;Maxed LIs;134 LoE;10k Will;12k Vitality;36k Crit Rating;0 Finesse;83k Phys Mastery;100k Tact Mastery;46k Resistance;17k Crit Defence;47k Phys Mit;49k Tact Mit

Some posts advise use of the keyboard rather than the mouse, but I'm not dextrous enough to press a combination like Alt+9 even if I could remember it in the middle of a fight! Also I often press the wrong number unless looking at the keyboard, so using the mouse for skills is the only sensible option for me.

Have you any constructive advice for an old granny please?

My mini was very ungeared when i attempted it. Not maxed LIs, very low mastery/morale etc. Only way i found to complete it was to outheal them since they didnt run out of power (blue line, yellow stance) and then very SLOOOOOW dps :P

(i'm a clicker aswell and i dont mind to start using keyboard [use it only on blue mini cause is tard 1,2,3,4] , if you are good on mouse the difference isnt that big)

I've got a blue-line setup (with red remainder ). Yellow stance must be dissonance as that's where the self-heals are but what do you cycle on your 1,2,3,4 keys? I've got the ballads on the first 3 but surely you must use others!

The 3 bosses you have to kill consist of 1 ranged mob and 2 melee mobs. The area you are given to fight in consists of the bridge and two large areas on either side of the bridge. Kiting mobs, running around them in a circle to minimize the amount of damage you take, is the best strategy for dealing with melee mobs. I recommend only using Chord of Salvation, for any healing needed while fighting in red, due to the fact you can cast it while moving.

Here is how I did this on my Minstrel. I did the entire instance in full DPS gear in red. I unloaded all my DPS spells on the ranged target. Then I headed to one of the large areas off of the bridge. I think I killed the ranged target in my initial burst, but if I hadn't I would have finished him at this point since many of my skills would have been ready to fire again. The rest of the fight consisted of me kiting around that area finishing off the remaining two mobs.

Thank you Mercho It sounds like I've been a bit silly! One of the bosses tells you something like "... if you get off this bridge alive" so I've never tried moving off that bridge on all 10 classes! The bridge itself isn't big enough for kiting which was why I didn't try this. Rialtan mentioned a "safe" area at the end of the bridge in the other (RK) topic - any idea where this is?

<edit> Yippee - now complete I wasn't quick enough to keep sufficiently far away from the melee bosses and was defeated yet again after killing the ranged boss, but managed to get back into the instance when there were only the two remaining and scraped through Thanks again.

go red, in melody, fellowships heart, done. also some finesse would help

When you can, fear something away and go the opposite way.
Then when the fear wears off you can attack him from range.
I can't remember if I used Still as Death or not in this one but I would consider that as well if you can burn something down and then get the others to retreat.


This one took me many attempts. And I ultimately came back to this when I was at 115 with about 140LOE and some better gear. I think I left red line and went blue, or I at least got out of war speech to get better self heals going to cope with little breaks that you get.

Yes, I do use fear on mobs then run, but because I didn't realise that you can move off the bridge it didn't help that much! IMHO they should change the dialogue and remove the misleading implication that you are restricted to fighting on that bridge! Anyway all's well that ends well
