Yeah, I just watched it on Netflix and thought, "Hey! Someone's had this mad idea about Elves, Orcs and Men from Tolkien living in the modern world." Was ok, I guess. Basically just a mismatched cop partners movie with some magic thrown in and an ending that could lead to a spin-off if enough people liked it.
Actually, it's a bit like someone thought, "Let's add Tolkien to Alien Nation."
Will Smith just does his "I, Robot" thing again pretty much.

The reviews I have read absolutely hammer it as lazy and racist; with a poor script and generally terrible acting.
