    Website tracking

Every time I come back here after a bit of break the website seems to take longer and longer to load. Something I had forgotten about until Firefox brought to my attention. With them incorporating new user functions within the last two years and even more recently. I took the time to look into them. I enabled the non tracking function and low and behold an instant load time.

So it brings me to a question. Whats with all the tracking increases lately for your website?
Things I can see no real purpose for. I see them as tracking fluff trash. Why would a website even want them affixed to their site?

I keep my PC clean and up to date always. Its not a matter of me being infected or w/e. It just seems some of the tracking tags take way too long.

I run Privacy Badger and it says there are zero potential trackers on this page or anywhere but the main lotro.com page (it says 2) . Using Firefox.

I'm happy with the new version knowing google analytics, facebook and others aren't wasting my time without using a 3rd party addon. None of them ever had any business in what I do in the 1st place.

I still question why they(FB and others of the same)are there. I noticed them some years ago and no one could answer me,except they were offered to place them and so they did.
