How to play Creeps PVP

I have been with lotro for a few years and I could never understand the creeps part of the game. I logged in a few times to try it and could not understand much of anything. Now I would like to dev into it but not sure how. I have looked on the forums for how to guides or guides explaining this part of the game I have not found anything. Could anyone please either explain how to get into this or some guides on how to play creeps. After being here for a while I would like to explore this part of the game.

The links, shown below, provide some basic information, but the easiest way to learn about creeping is to join a creep tribe. Once in a tribe, I think you'll find most tribe members are happy to answer any questions you may have... they want to see you do well and have fun! So, create a creep, and then go into the OOC channel by typing.... /OOC in your chat bar. Then ask about tribes looking for new members. Which server are you on? If you're on Arkenstone, I might be able to hook you up with a tribe.

Creep play is actually quite a bit easier than Freep as there are no Trait Trees and the classes and roles are clearly defined.

Step A: Pick your favorite role: Minny = Defiler, Cappy = War Leader, Champ = Reaver, Hunter = Black Arrow, Burg = Warg, ? = Spider (just a weird, but cool ranged DPS class)

Step B: Use your knowledge of your Freep Class to inform how to play its corresponding Creep

Step C: Google: LOTRO and the name of the Class and see what info you can find - warning, some of it may be old, and dated, but still useful overall. For example: “The Art of the Warg” (although out of date) changed my life!

Step D: make sure you have “activate voice” and look for an active Creep Tribe (same as Kin) as the prior poster suggested. Most Tribes are eager to help new players and will help you with strategy, missions, give you gold to buy potions and food etc. You can monitor OOC and chat with /OOC to send regional broadcasts and read them from fellow Creeps that are on-line.

Step E: Do the Quests to complete Deeds and earn your maps- no Mounts for Creeps, so you either walk or use a fast map to key locations across the Moors.

Finally, and most importantly, don’t forget to have fun!

Cool thanks for the reply. Sorry for the late one, I forgot I posted it. I had heard the PVP aspect was not that good but wanted to try to at least understand how to play and play a few times to get the feel of it. I like to explore all aspects of a game sometime so that is all I am doing, and I am curious. This should get me going on how to play it enough. The Freeps side is self explanatory but I am not much interested in that side just yet. Any more hint and help would be cool if anyone else has any.

I am just going to try the free creeps class for now, before I try the other creeps and spend money. I do have interest in playing some of the other creep
class, just because they seem cool to play.

Do not listen to this freep easymoder and noob...Every other mmorpg have player and freep alike gameplay and only Lotro has monster play...It is a way more challenging to pwn as creep...Glory to Sauron!!!Glory to the Great Eye! Azog: Sho gad adol!(Black Speech of Mordor).Drink their blood!!!The best gameplay ever and one of the most unique features ever + lore wise i am pro Creep side...It is very challenging and best pvmp ever saw a true mmorpg pvmp raid vs raid orientated not dumb arenas not soloing but pure massive multiplayer online pvmp... Try out the creep side it rocks and it is very challenging!!!Do not chase for 1 v 1 as they are unbalanced 1 vs 1 in freeps favour (we have maybe 2x of their hp but they have like 6x times our our dmg),but still in raid vs raid combat it is balanced in some way...A proper mmorpg aspect fighting 2 creep raids vs 2 freep raids there are nothing more adrenaline pumping or more massivelly multiplayer aspec than that...I cannot even mention how awesome also a customization of appearance of lotro orc reaver at least a fierce warrior of Sauron is you can have mordor black skinned conscript appearance,red skinned orc,brown orc,white orc,green orc,yellowish kinda orc ongburz appearance,mordor apperance...There is no game that offers you that much apperance customisation in terms of skin color of orc et cetera... :O
