Cute little hobbit. I'm not a fan of the shoulders usually, but they fit the theme.

I always wanted to create an outfit with Cloak of the Peace-keeper and Robe of Viisaus.

Head: Plumed Hat (questreward intro instance, but there are several randomdrops and questrewards that share the design) - gold
Shoulder: Songmaster's Shoulders (bartered in Ost Galadh minstrel trainer) - gold
Chest: Robe of the Viisaus (questreward: Vol. 1, Book 13 -- Chapter 4: The Hand of Angmar) - gold
Back: Cloak of the Peace-Keeper (part of some special edition or pre-order) - can't be dyed
    Feet: Songmaster's Shoes ( see Songmaster's Shoulders) - gold
    Ranged: Lute of Ages

I'm so envious of that cloak, it was given out way before my time and knowing their policy of never bring exclusive items back, I'll never get it T__T

it looks lovely with robes and dresses, the gold theme is very beautiful

No matter how flashy Vanyalanthirel's outfit may look; this combo here is just Strange

I had planned to dye everything in Ered Luin blue, but then I came across the picture of a certain comic character, and found that his outfit was quite similar, except for the cloak. So I changed that one.

Head: Fancy Circlet of Bard's Will
Back: Cloak of the Unwelcome Guest, crimson dye
Shoulders: Embossed Mantle of the Wyrm, default/washed/white
Chest: Robe of Nature's Fury, Ered Luin blue dye
Gloves: Hall-General's gauntlets, Ered Luin blue dye
Feet: Reclaimed Nobleman's Shoes, Ered Luin blue dye

    Staff: Replica of Ornadar

My elf hunter's new casual outfit is inspired by your third one! I had tried to pair the long sleeved summer dress with a cloak before but thought something was missing. When I saw your pics I realized the shoulderwrap was the missing piece so I bought the same one and remade the outfit. Here's how it turned out:

Long-sleeved summer dress (dye: Rivendell green)
Ceremonial shoulders of the Seven Stars (dye: dark green)
Golden tree summer cloak (dye: dark green)

Cloak - plain hooded cloak from outfitter, dyed grey
Chest - Nadhin jacket, dyed sienna. Traded with another player, assume they're a world drop
Boots - Brushed leather boots from skirmish camp, dyed grey
Shoulders - Nadhin shoulders (note the tree of Gondor brooch - was so chuffed when I found these), dyed grey. Auction house, assume world drop
Gauntlets - vibrant Calenard gauntlets, dyed sienna (crafted at Westfold tier)
Sword - from Rivendell rep vendor
Shield - from Moria rep vendor

    ...more images...
That looks really great. I'm usually not a fan of hooded cloaks but You have put it to good use with that combination. The whole outfit looks very great together. Only thing I don't like is that shiny star emblem on the hauberk/jacket but that is nothing one can get rid of. It comes attached to it. If it had been more wornm and not so polished looking I would have liked it more. It kinda sticks out too much compared to the hauberk/jacket itself. However that was the artists design decision, not Yours. We can only play with what we are given. I really like these more toned down, earthy colours and more "realistic" outfit combinations. At first glance it almost looked like my Dwares outfit, as I use the same shield for him but then realized the boots and hauberk are not the same at all. Mine are also brown though. I might acctually switch to the boots You use now that I saw them. I like how the do not stick out at the top but stays more slimmed to the leg. Very well done sir (you might be a lady but I refer to you as the male character in the screenshots). I also like the poses.

    Thanks!

I know what you mean, the star kind of clashes with the tree brooch on the shoulders as well. It also works with the “lesser dextrous chest guard of fate” which is a longer and plainer hauberk but for some reason all the brown dyes come out too light on it. I can’t understand why the dyes aren’t the same colour on every item. When I’m next at my PC I’ll post that one too so you can see what I mean.

Anyway, glad you like the outfit - thanks for the great comments! You should post the dwarf (not in the mail )

As long as I don't toss him, he he he !!!

Yeah, I would really like to see that too. About the dyes. I guess it's because the base colour on items may vary. If You look at them using the "washed" option, in the dressing room, You will see their base colour. Some are darker, some are lighter and that affects the dye put on top of them. At least I think that is why.

So.... Here is the other outfit, with some different colours:

First is my initial choice - olive cloak and shoulders, with burgundy gauntlets and chestguard. Think it looks a bit Boromirish:

Second is attempting to replicate the original outfit from my earlier post, but with the new chestguard - it is dyed sienna, same as the nadhin jacket from earlier, but is really orangey instead of being the rich dark colour.

Thirdly, a happy accident! I happened upon walnut brown, which is the best brown I can find for this chestpiece. Could go back to grey, but I think the olive works well with this colour. Could go with the hood:

    Or without the hood:

    What do you think?

Maybe you can try yet another rugged medium armor, the crafted Eastemnet Skirmish Armor (without the Mark) for level 80. Its base color is more or less grey, which will make the dyes appear darker than on the current one. Unfortunately I could not find a proper picture of this piece besides the Rohan preview from the Beta.

Another attempt to create an outfit inspired by a cloak. Cloak of Mordirith's Bane. Always thought it to be ugly(purple and red oO), but wanted to try to create an outfit with it for my burglar the juggler, bard, fortune-teller

Head: Plumed Hat (starting instance reward or one of the hats that share this design, quest rewards, drops...) - rose
    Shoulders: -
    Back: Cloak of Mordirith's Bane
Chest: Elven Robe (lvl 44 available at light armour trade in Rivendell) - purple
Hands: Sterkist's Sturdy Bracers (Beorning starting armour)
Feet: Heithur's Boots (Quest reward Trollshaws) - rose
    Ceterum censeo Carthaginem esse delendam.

Are you sure you would want an actual helmet? This outfit is so elegantly light, perhaps a circlet may complement it more. Going with the Lorien theme, check the Moria Light Armour vendor (or the Cosmetics vendor in skirm camp, under Moria Cosmetic Clothing -Light) for a Balladeer's Hat or Ceremonial Hat of the Written Word - same item known under several names, a circlet with golden single leaf rising in the front.
If you have access to a Beorning, the beorning circlet from intro-quest armor might look nice dyed green with your current set too.

If you're looking specifically for a headpiece offering protection/discretion in combat situations - i.e., for function and not just for ornamental looks, there are some Medium armour helmets that come with hoods/mask and may look like something a Lorien archer might wear.
Try Helm of the Lady's Secrecy dyed in corresponding green shade. (A cosmetic version of the same is available either via Lalia's Market or via monthly Mannequin rotation).
Or you could simply try a cosmetic hood by itself - either Traveler's Hood from Lotro Store, or Hood of Night from skirmish camp classic vendor.

The Scout's Weathered Leather Helmet (Dunland quest reward) has a nice "Robin Hood" look which might complement the green and forest-y motif of your outfit:

    https://lotro-wiki.com/index.php/Item%3AScout's_Weathered_Leath er_Helmet

If you haven't had the opportunity to get the item or selected another reward for class reasons, the Peacock Cap from this year's Summer Festival has the same shape (but a large feather sticking from it.) It had a wrapped version which doesn't bind until opened.

But I have to agree with the previous poster and say the outfit looks perfectly fine without a head covering.
