the 212k for cappy banner is a temporarily bondage for the captain, they're prob planning on fixing the captain skills later but for now they just added 212k to the banner now as temp fix.

I say, just leave it for now, lmao :'D

Question Skill Delay On Race Of Men Hunters

We're definitely still iterating on the ratings changes and tweaking some DPS/morale pool values.

Unfortunately, the big ratings rework we did for palantir a while ago didn't make it to bullroarer until this last drop due to a propogation error - so, sorry about that dropping on you at the last minute.

Anyway, we're making substantial adjustments for the next bullroarer (there will definitely be at least one more). Overall the gear ratings will be getting stingier - I simply didn't adjust it enough to compensate for the fact that mastery is no longer an infinite stat dump in many builds.

I also normalized the different stat values too much on the first pass. DPS/Healer builds simply don't care deeply about as many stats as the tank builds do, so the dps stats will be getting comparatively more expensive to cap on gear - all the new curves and caps remain unchanged, it's just the gear stats themselves that will change.

The main stats on gear are not being reduced, so they'll be better comparatively than they were - though I doubt most builds will be interested in throwing in main stat essences even then. They are mostly intended to provide a stat floor for various key character ratings rather than to act as a power stat.

On the morale pool side I'm making some minor tweaks to cap level mobs, and bumping up the lower level (50-105) mobs somewhat.

We are in a position to iterate on these values quite rapidly - but we need detailed feedback on order to make those changes more effective. When posting balance feedback please include salient details like Character Level, general class/build (I don't need full tree breakdowns, 'blue loremaster with a splash of red' is fine), average equipment iLevel, enemy types/levels, and of course what instance and tier you are running (if any).

Without these details for context, it is very hard to squeeze any meaning out of responses.

How about a fix for the skill delay on race of men Hunters ???

You say You have fixed dual wield champions and now wardens too, but not a word on Hunters.

I play side by side with my son. I have an elven Hunter (among many other classes), my son has a race of men Hunter (among many other classes) it is a gender male character (in case that effects something, it's better to include all info). It is very easy to see how his race of men hunter has weird delays on many skills. Sometimes so much that it is impossible to time interupts and sometimes his hunter will just stand there and do nothing as he waits for his skills to even start an induction and animation. Nothing happens at all. Then suddenly after a long delay the skill goes off. I do NOT have these issues on my elven Hunter. We use more or less the same build in blue line. Only difference is that he has a couple of less trait points than me but other than that identical.

We wanted to test this on this latest BR round but when trying to transfer his hunter to BR on this build but it did not work. We tried other characters too. We could not transfer any character over from live to BR during this build. The characters we had moved during earlier builds were still on BR but his hunter was not a character we moved over on those earlier builds, so we can not test it. I mean we wanted to test in case the fix for champs and wardens have solved hunters too intentionally or by accident, OR if it' still broken and have those weird delays.

I hope You know that the transer function from live to BR did not work (broken or intentional ???) this last test round. If You did not know, well now You know.
Oh and no, none of the characters we tried to transfer had been transfered earlier and deleted, so it's not that they block themselves from being transfered again. It simply did not work at all to transfer for us on this last build.

I've also seen other posts that dwarves (guardian I think it was) may suffer some skill delay. I can't remember in what thread that was though. It seems all these skill delay bugs came with the so called "balance" update. Changes in the code might have broken more than one thing. As not only champs were affected.

The skill delay Bug on Champs and Wardens, had nothing to do with the Race. Champions, Burglars, Minis and Hunters (at least that are the Classes i know having this Problem) still have some different Animations dependent on the Race.
This delays have not much to do with the Balancing pare, they are in the game since i can think^^

I play hunter in Human, Hobbit and Elven forms (and also in High Elf form just recently). While race has shown it's very slight differences since I can remember, Lord Funk's post has some merit, in that it is more noticeable on my Human hunter since the Hunter balance pass. It's not so much as it's making it unplayable - certainly nowhere near the problem that D/W champs have at the moment - but it is there.
Sometimes, no matter how hard you look, there is no best light.
