    Beorning Multi-stun in Man Form

Most who have played around with the class probably know this little trick. But, it's a good one to have, nonetheless.

If you are in Man Form with no wrath and are contemplating an attack on a camp with multiple mobs...try this simple trick.

    1. Activate Ferocious Roar

    2. Immediately switch to Bear Form and activate Rush skill.

    3. Switch back to Man Form.

    4. Wait for all mobs to get within 5m.

    5. Use Biting Edge skill.

That simple process allows you to stun up to five (5) mobs in Man Form. It's a nice start to a fight in that situation, because you now have a couple seconds to fill your wrath while your opponents are knocked out. Ferocious Roar, which initially gave you the wrath to switch to Bear Form will, also, assist you in building wrath. Switch to Bear Form with full Morale and full Wrath...and enjoy the carnage.

Try traiting for both Lumber and Thunderous Roar sometime. About as much fun you can have as a bear.

Use this only when play yellow line.
On red, Broad Thrash makes ever 3rd trash hits 5 anemy. Use rush skill after second bash.
On blue dont use it with roar, you want your enemy to hit you and get reflect dmg, not to lay stunned till reflect effect expire. use swipe instead. Rush/roar is nice on blue when you want time to recover or give your healer time to outheal. Good that roar hits ALL target in range. / with no limit/

I dont want to take damage when I'm tanking... to me, tanking is trying to get the least possible amount of damage while having all enemies focussed on me.
and certainly not just for the sake of reflecting it, which is mostly neglectable damage anyway. The main point in lumbered rush is that it simply hits everything, which no other beornings skill does.
But yea, if its only 5 targets or less, other skills can be used with the same effect.

Thanks for the tip! I've only ever really been using it as a knockdown on a single target up to this point.

The dmg from reflect is not even close to neglectable
You use reflect to keep/build agro, not just to do dmg.
And this "" i dont want to take damage when i`m tanking"" make me laugh DD
    Sorry :P

The stun lasts for 1 second, and is a force taunt, so I steal threat from DPS.

The reflect is up for 90% of the time (assuming you use roar on cooldown).

I'd rather just knock everything down to give my healers a chance to recover than purposefully take extra damage. The reflect damage is not significantly important to speeding up the fight.

    Stun is 5 seconds.
Your jobs as a tank is not speed up the fight. Reflect helps you keep agro.
Thats why beors have bad name. No ofence m8.
    Cheers.

The reflect builds a little threat but its also up almost 100% of the time anyway (16s cd, 14s duration) so it doesn't matter if the first 5 seconds aren't utilized...

If you're losing aggro then you're doing something wrong anyway - regardless of which skill you use to knockdown. The 2 short-cooldown (13s, 16s) aoe force-taunts, 1 long-cooldown (30s) channeled aoe force taunt, increased threat from Bee Swarm, and threat-theft from Sacrifice generate enough threat at the start of a fight and maintain it over the duration. By your logic, how do Captains ever hold aggro (given that they are the lowest DPS tank)? Its because damage isn't the only factor in maintaining aggro.

You are correct about one thing though; the stun is 5 seconds. That changes literally nothing, but you are correct. I apologize.

As for your last statement. "What" exactly is why Beornings have a bad name? Someone mis-remembering the duration of a niche ability on a class that isn't played because other classes do its job better? I apologize if my mis-remembering that duration has caused people to look down on you for playing a bear. I'll step aside and let them find their own reasons.

1 legit taunt. The 2 you mention are mele and statick. Its ok if your fellow members are smart. But it turns to hell when they steal agro/ or hit mobs right after spawn and run away/ in every direction at the same time. So yes. Reflect agro is needed.
And dont tell me that i may do it wrong if i lose agro. Because i do it perfect. But if dps decide to steal agro from you, he will, and bear is the hardest class to get that agro back/ from all tanks.
Play with some geared dps and see what i mean.
Duno its a bug or not but hunter can steal your agro even if force taunt debuf is stil on target.

Gonna have to disagree with you here. Beorning has never had any issue with holding aggro, in fact it tends to do that easier than any other tank. The issue I mostly ran into was the fact that a Beorning struggles to survive taking aggro of everything. At certain points in Throne I recall my Beornings TPS being upwards of 3 times higher than my equally geared Guardian.

Honestly if a revamp ever does happen they should probably drop a forced taunt or two (preferably edge and maul) and give us some non-forced taunt methods of generating threat.

As i said, beor have hard time/ depend of your fellow ofc/ to get agro, not to hold it.
TPS on guard is not lower tbh. With the u22.2 become even better.
I dont play it at u23, but i do hear that they broke guard. Duno how much this is true.

Except it is. By quite a bit. Guards have higher mits, actual avoidances and multiple skills to mitigate incoming damage by notable amounts. I’m also really not sure how you are struggling to get aggro in the first place, literally just requires you to push one button and unlike wardens/guardians you don’t even have to give much concern as to when you first taunt since you have another two available.

Bruh... You are smart guy. My english sux. But i`m sure you understand me. If you alow yourself ofc.
Is not about playing premade grp. Its easy to get/ keep agro when everything go to plan and dps dont nuke mobs right after they spawn. I had situations when 2/3 of dps start nuking adds and then run away / with adds chsaing them. You have no range / target taunt as a beor you know, all you have is one aoe taunt and if you dont menage to agro adds, you need to go gather them 1 by one/ bees wont help you if target is already nuked.
About guard tps. Pls. Guard dmg is 10x beor one. Hps come from dmg too you know. Only yellow cpt has less tps.
Beo is clumsy. All 3 specs. Is broken asfk and is not good to play with randoms. Its fun, thats all. And rewarding i agree. Because every small victory look like a big one if you achieve it on underdog class.

I`m done talking about beo. Honestly i`m done with the game till i see u24 changes.
Have fun if you can. I envy you.
    Cheers

Yeah I think you’re confused over TPS. TPS is Taken (damage) Per Second. Guardians take significantly less damage than Beornings.

    Well, if I tank...

my first priority is to gather all enemies in my melee range, so I don´t have issue with holding aggro because of my skill range. If the enemies are dispersed and I use aoe taunt as opening attack to collect them, I don´t want to stun them. The taunt and stun have same duration and if enemies are not after 5s in my melee range, I can´t follow with another taunt and of course I will lose aggro on all enemies outside of my melee range.

This is at the beginning at the combat. If all enemies are within my melee range, I have no issue to stun them and mitigate damage this way.

Only "tanking" class what I haven't played as tank is champion so cannot say nothing about it. But beorning just puts guardian, warden and captain in shame what comes to taking aggro and holding it. You have 3 aoe force taunts, 2 with quite sort cd, what else do you need to taking and holding aggro with bear? If you have issues to take and hold aggro, then your doing something wrong.
Staying alive with beorning IS issue. Guardian, warden and cappy takes less damage simply because they all can block. Also champion can block in blue.

And if your comment is based to "I have heard" then you simply don't even have any experience, so your simply just wrong person to talk about this at all.
