There are milostones across Middle-Earth, you click on them and the use skill to return to them, if needed. Sort of port skill. But you can only return to the milestone which you have currently active.

Check here for more information: https://lotro-wiki.com/index.php/Milestone

But I see that you are here since feb 2009 and have over 500 posts, so maybe do you mean something else with you question?
Ich bin kein Deutscher, sorry für Grammatik.
English isn't my native language, sorry for mistakes.

Thank you for replying, and yes, I do mean something else. My baby bears simply do not have the milestone skill - when they click on one and try to bind to it, it is not present. Not sure what to do about this.

Maybe do the quest that rewards you with a milestone?

It's easy to miss this quest because it plops you outside the gates of Archet rather than next to the guy. So every time you make a new beorning make sure you pick up the quest from the women you first see outside of the gate when you first finish the beorning intro instance. Then go into Archet and next to the mad badger is your quest to get the milestone skill.

Oh, thank you! One I had run through the whole intro, and another I skipped, and I had it on neither. I will investigate after I grill some lovely chops, and then I will decide which one I love best and want to keep!

Thank you to those who replied - I had completely missed the lady at the gate as I ported to my home in Thorin's Hall neighborhood right away on them.
